Ordered the breakfast sandwich. It was painfully BLAND- even with the cheese, I struggled to taste flavor. Not for me.
Good food and friendly staff Got coffee, a breakfast sandwich with bacon, quiche, and cheese danish. When she said "give me a few minutes, I have to make the sandwich," I knew it would be good. Much better than many places that just throw a pre-made into the microwave. Lady at the counter was friendly.
The most delicious Vanilla Bean Scones I've ever had, I literally took one bite and returned back to buy some more! All the pastries were so yummy! It's definitely my go to spot whenever I visit
All I have to say is OMG, you must try the carrot cake here. It is the BEST carrot cake I've ever had and I can't get enough of it.
I could kick myself for not having a photo! We ordered a fresh strawberry cake with their famous cream frosting with a chocolate ganache top. It was decorated with fresh strawberries and it was the best cake any of us had ever eaten. Highly highly recommend!!!
Very warm and inviting space with friendly staff in a pretty area. Great quality pesto veggie croissant and cappuccino. Nice listening to the music playing and watching the scene of the bustling street and local passersby.
Good pastries and good coffee, and that's what counts! Custom bakery orders (pies and cakes) looked incredible, though that's not what I was there for. Looking forward to returning.
The Perfect Crumb.. really does live up to it's name. From the freshly brewed coffee, FANTASTIC!! German chocolate cake, Freshly baked morning quiche, to the Coffee cake that taste so delicious... It's all perfect and feels like home when coming into here. Thank you Susan & Annette for the Perfect Birthday Cake and making the birthday even more special.!
Visited this cute bakery before heading down to the 17 mile and boy was it worth it. Pictured here is their quiche which was huge and filled with so many great toppings. The staff here were super sweet and lovely. Definitely check this place out for a quick bite to eat and drink before heading to the beaches to see some incredible views
The lady seemed nice, cute bakery with different options. The bakes were good in flavor but I wished my croissants wasn't cold... It felt like it was in the fridge and the chocolate was very hard... My sister got the German chocolate muffin and hers was also cold not room temp. I just wish it wasn't cold...
Delicious bakery, excelent cofee
I walked in feeling great and their attitude was not matching at all. They had their serious face on and felt so unwelcoming. I got the hint and just ordered anything to get out of there even though I had more questions to ask about the coffee and how to make it sweet. Thats what I get when I try to help local I guess. I should have gone to starbucks. I felt really bad for the young girl helping out the older lady. Gave her a 20% tip and hope that tip went to her. Young lady if your reading this. Pro tip. Dont work at a place where you cant even have a good time or is even remotely enjoyable.
We came in around 2:40 for a coffee and dessert. We were rudely told that they close at 3 pm but we could stay until then. When the lady took our order we asked about nondairy milk options and were again snapped at that they only have whole milk. There was no “will that be ok?” Or “anything else?” Or “thank you” or “enjoy”. I gave 2 stars because the carrot cake was good but the service left a terrible taste. We felt so unwelcome in the cafe that it was hard to enjoy what we ordered. I would recommend that others find another cafe in the area.
This place is everything a small bakery should be: very good coffee, delicious baked goods, and a couple of good meal items. The breakfast sandwich was second to none.
Excellent carrot cake! After calling and driving to a couple of bakeries in Carmel we were happy to find the perfect piece of carrot cake for my wife’s birthday at The Perfect Crumb Bakery. We really appreciated that she took the piece from a whole cake that hadn’t been cut into yet. It is moist, full of flavor and just sweet enough. Thank you!
Stopped for coffee and a quick breakfast on our way to the aquarium. So glad we did. Spinach feta quiche was great and the folks there were so friendly. Thank you!

Decent cappuccino (rare in Monterey). 5 stars for the ambience and costumer service. Super kind and polite. It would be great if they open a Branch on Alvarado St.
Macchiato made the traditional correct way (not like Starbucks). Breakfast sandwich is to die for. My husband and i split one and were full. We also ordered a breakfast burrito and cinnamon roll. Both look and smell amazing but we are too full. Service was friendly and amazing. Very cute little cafe, comfy and bright.
We got four breakfast sandwiches and two cinnamon rolls and everything was really delicious. The owner did seem rather irritated that we were there. 😂 Perhaps just overwhelmed running the place alone, but seeing this as a theme in other reviews. Great place and one of the only bakeries open on Sunday!
