I LIVE UP THE STREET, BEST COFFEE IN TOWN AND SERVICE
Amazing little hidden gem! Lovely staff, amazing drinks and pastries both savory and sweet and the best, smoothest caramel maccihato I have EVER had
This is the only non-corporate coffeeshop in downtown Monterey. Everything about this place is mediocre.
Local coffee house with fresh pastries, hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, and my favorite, the quiche. Big round quiche for about $7, usually two types available. Always an open table and filled with locals and visitors.
Awesome pastries and coffee! The staff is so kind and friendly
Pittsburgh, pa loves Jim's java!!!! From the first sip to the last drop this cup of coffee was AMAZING. Checking out online ordering options now...
Got a boba tea and a mini quiche. Was disappointed that the quiche was microwaved, which left the middle cool and microwaving ruins the flakiness of the crust. With so many pretty pastries on display, a toaster oven at least would improve the quality of the food. My boba tea was fine and the drink selection was very extensive. The atmosphere is nice and cozy and the music selections pleasant. I'll probably return to give this place another try.
We had the worst coffee we’ve been served here. The cappuccinos didn’t even have a hint of espresso taste… more like slightly burnt milk. We cut our losses, tossed them and thankfully found actual espresso just a couple blocks down Franklin at Captain+Stoker.
I went for a quick lunch and was quickly disappointed. The girl taking our order was very polite - the reason why this isn't a 1 star review. My wife's vanilla soy latte was watery and bland. The Americano I ordered was fine. However, the "panini" was extremely disappointing. If it were labeled "toasted sandwich," it would have been fine - overpriced, but fine. It also came out on a flimsy paper plate. If I had ordered from a food truck or they ran out of real plates, no biggie. However, there was a tall stack of real plates by the counter and the staff must have just not wanted to clean the dishes afterwards. The music was a top 40 mix. Not my taste, but not offensive. Rubbing salt in the wound, the trash was overflowing when I needed to throw the plate away. I am happy to spend money on good food. I also enjoy the value of a cheap, quick eat. This is neither. I will not be a returning customer.
Small coffee shop in monterey. All staff is friendly and helpful. The door remains open until late so its a bit cold inside. The coffee is ok.
Fresh tasting delicious cappuccino, Chai Tea and tasty chocolate muffins.
Decent coffee and modest prices. They also have a variety of bubble teas.
The eggs on the breakfast sandwich were are grey/green. Awful. Staff said it was the microwave cooking. That's it. I'll go elsewhere.
Great coffee. Better than SB. Excellent selection of coffee drinks, tea and other beverages.
Nice place to have a coffee with family and friends. I like it ❤️👍
I ordered Somalian coffee, which was good.
What a find! Being from out of town this place was a gem for breakfast with chi and coffee! A must!
Two different coffees - a latte and a frappe - tasted rotten, like the milk or coffee molded. Threw them out. Worried about food poisoning later today :( Avoid at all costs.
Good coffee, chill atmosphere. A short walk away from Old Fisherman’s Wharf.
Supreme coffee house vibes here. Clean. Home made flavor, cool staff & perfect music compilations.
