Best coffee in this part of the peninsula, worth the trip out of Palo alto. Pros: -amazing coffee -quick service -large pour over menu and fun seasonal lattes -chill vibe and lots of dogs Cons: -next to super noisy caltrain station -often a line, altho it moves quickly -no indoor seating
Only been here for coffee a few times, the coffee is world class and so is the customer service!!!
First time visit Great coffee
Didn't have any food but the coffee was good. Fresh beans and great atmosphere.
If you can’t decide, try the flight 😋 4 stars because there was nothing available to eat.
Definitely one of the best lattes I've had in bay area. Also really good service. Right now, it is just outdoor seating. I hope they get to open a cafe soon. I've seen how people stop serving in cups an hour before closing in many coffee shops and only offer to-gos. In this cafe, we visited 15 min before closing and the barista graciously served the coffee in cup with a beautiful latte art. 5 stars for sure!
Ok.
Wonderful, sunny spot for coffee, tea and baked snacks right behind the Menlo Park train station. Fabulous service. The marshmallow root tea was a nice surprise, and the ginger cookies are terrific (and often sold out). Lots of tables, some with shade. Good WiFi. I like this place.
Casual vibes, not crowded and excellent coffee. Would definitely recommend getting the flight to try out different coffees and styles in one sitting. The outdoor seating is great on a sunny day and it wasn't busy at all so you'll definitely be able to find a seat. Definitely coming back here again when I need a spot of focus, enjoy some good coffee and get work done!
Maple pine latte and the croissants are delicious
Great coffee with sunny outdoor seating (if you’re lucky!)
Being a coffee connoisseur, I am always looking for an espresso drink that is deeply flavorful yet not bitter. From Saint Frank’s I just tasted one of the BEST lattes I’ve ever had! Seriously!
Best coffee in the area, hands down. It's a real single origin espresso and very good microfoam
Oh man even the decaf was so solid and full of flavor. I know the 9-5 (more like 9-9) free coffee life has destroyed my taste buds, but I can still say $3.50 for premium coffee is a bang for your buck in the silicon valley, incredible scenery, can’t miss!
While the food choices were limited at 2:30, the coffee was excellent. My light roast pour over was better than what I get at Blue Bottle. Outdoor seating only, but that was nice. Next to the train station, so convenient for travelers but intermittent noise.
Not the shop's fault but location wise it's difficult to meet for coffee/conversation with the constant train activity so close. No blame just affects my thought on going here if for conversation. If alone or something, great! Friendly atmosphere for sure.
Tldr; hella good coffee, you need to come here if you are a coffee lover. This is one of the few places I will go out and have coffee at in the Bay. If you are a big coffee person, you will absolutely love Saint Franks. Their single origin is A+. Their milk steaming technique is A+. Their beans are phenomenal. If I ever get homesick for Melbourne coffee, this is the place I go to cure that homesickness.
My favorite latte in Palo Alto
Rude, grumpy barista, real shame because the coffee is excellent. We took a walk around the block after being told the pour over would take a few minutes, when we got back the other barista loudly called us out for not being there when the coffee was done. A really strange experience.
Amazing latte, excellent cappuccino ☕️
