I order 2 (long shot) espresso they gave me 2 regular shot and they argue that's the right size .. which I order this 3 times a day from different stores location and all they gave me the right size except this location.
When I gave my call name Alfred at the checkout, the barista asked “is it Alfred P?” I didn’t get the joke until I looked up Peet’s Wiki. The quality of the latte is good.
A Peet’s is a Peet’s… but this one is a bit bigger than the typical, plenty of seating space but always full … well, perhaps that tells us something about their good service and quality
Favorite Peet's location amongst Peninsula locations. Compared to MV or PA Peet's, consistently good cup of drip or chai. Foamed/steamed milk technique better than other locations. Staff does a pretty good job keeping place clean. Never have to ask and wait for napkin (or stirrer, etc.) dispenser to be filled. Had an almond croissant the other day and it was pretty fresh, no day old taste here. Cozy place to sit down with lots of tables. Come early in the morning if you are wanting to settle in with your laptop, as there can be competition later in the day.
I got a large chai latte and it was yummy, but I had to take off a star because my cup was not filled the whole way and it wasn’t very hot. Everyone working was very kind and the drink came out relatively quick though!
Good place to hang out. Lively vibe. Friendly staff. Plenty of tables but most are occupied most of the time.

Strong coffee...Just about right and creamy foam
Sure, it's tiny, crowded, and you have to step around oblivious cyclists, but this is THE historical Peet's location in the South Bay. Just smile and wait for your coffee (assuming it's not drip cuz that's immediate).
We had Peet’s coffee delivered via Doordash, and while the drinks came sealed so I don’t believe it was the dasher, our medium cups were filled halfway which is pretty ridiculous. The drinks had a seal on them so it would have been impossible for them to be spilled via transport, which means they’re only filled halfway for some reason unbeknownst to me
Visited on 9/18 at 11:00 am. 10+ people waiting for drinks. Took 18 minutes to received a Double Latte, extra foam, extra hot. Two baristas but they struggled to get in front of the rush of orders.
Good for the fast coffee
Most of the time the coffee and service are great.
Very clean store. The service was quick and the barista very friendly. I wish they had inside tables, but there are several outside benches.
I like their coffee more than other national chains. Not burnt taste.
I ordered a decaf drip, which needed to be made. The cashier brushed me off for the next customer and I did not know where my coffee would be when it was finished and she didn't seem to understand my question. I've had this happen at different Pete's coffee locations where usually I pick up my drip coffee from the cashier. After a couple of exchanges I learned I needed to pick up my coffee where the specialty coffees are made.
