Ordered a smoothie in the morning inside the cafe for to go. Waited in an empty cafe for a single smoothie for 15 min. No apologies, no explanations.
Friendly, helpful & detailed customer service from Daniel Sunday morning. I ordered & had multiple modifications & he gave me suggestions that resulted in an incredible breakfast. The coffee tastes delicious! I was super impressed by the ease of doing the modifications & how incredibly delicious items came out. I can’t wait to come back very soon. We’ve been looking for a healthy place & burritos. Thank you soooo Much!!!!
Food is always great and the coffee too. On our last visit: - didn't get water - napkin had stains on it - got tomato in my sandwich although I ordered no tomatoes and they stated no tomatoes when the food arrived - they didn't offer to take the empty coffee cup which usually doesn't bother me but the tables are small here
Real awesome breakfast in a nice deco restaurant. Service was attentive, and we just loved the pancakes and the fried egg bacon brioche!
They can do much better. Overrated. Lines for no reason, the food you can wait for more than 30 minutes (does it take so long for just a plain croissant? probably flying to Paris will be faster than get it here) As for pros, there are many well dressed people around, including staff.
Very average food, chicken sandwich is ok though. 0 services provided other than host at the entrance, maybe due to lack of staff
Bad customer service. Waited in a 30 min line to be told there s another 45 min wait. When I gave the hostess the feedback, she pretty much told me to f off, because thats their system. Will not come again.
updating my review to 5 stars as quality, service, consistency have been great each visit. absolutely love the app and promotions, love variety of things on the menu big brekki plates, pancakes, bowls etc.. (includes lots of healthy options, vegan, vegetarian items) everything is solid quality. it's in downtown los altos, so the area is lovely! by far my fave neighborhood brekki place!
Bluestone Café boasts a cozy and inviting atmosphere that is perfect for enjoying a delectable meal or a cup of coffee. I have visited this establishment numerous times and have always been impressed with their level of service and attention to detail. The café can get quite busy during peak hours, I recommend making reservations in advance - especially if you're planning on dining with a group. The staff is friendly and professional. The food is flavorful and satisfying. Their portions are generous and will leave you feeling full and satisfied. The coffee blend is perfectly roasted and brewed to perfection, making it unnecessary to add any additional sugar or flavorings. I highly recommend Bluestone Café.
Met friends for brunch without a reservation and they worked with us to get a table, and so glad they did! The food was beautiful and flavorful, and the decor crisp and bright.
Good spot for friends gathering! Food is good , but drink just average, one cup of latte over $7 ! Order online by yourself
Not recommended if you expect okay service for what you paid! SLOW and BAD SERVICE! As a return customer, what happened was really frustrating and disappointing. After sitting down for 20 minutes, nobody came and greeted us. We had to ask for service and finally get some water. I understand that they have staff shortage, but the operating efficiency is really low. It took us 45 minutes to finally get our food, and then they totally forgot to bring the salad we ordered. We had to ask twice to finally get our salad. The coffee and environment are great, but the service is too bad!
I was having some serious withdrawals regarding good coffee until I found this place! Australian style espresso coffee 🤩 I’ll be back every day until I head back to the land down under!
We ordered their egg and bacon croissant for our breakfast through the delivery app. The croissant is still crispy, warm and tasty.
- good coffee - good ambience Why 2 stars ? - staff is a bit arrogant. - I went in yesterday and they said they don't allow seating without reservation. I didn't read anywhere that they require reservations. It was about 50% empty and yet they didn't even try. They should highlight somewhere that they do not take walk-ins. - overpriced food I want to love this place just because of the interiors but then it lacks some very basic & important things that creates repeat customers.
Took more than 40mins to get 2 cups of coffee for takeout…and the ice cream is completely melted already
We keep visiting this place quite frequently. Nice lattes and perfect ambiance of a breakfast place. Love their indoor as well as outdoor seating. Great breakfast as well - avocado toast, lemon ricotta pancake are good. Wish they had more vegetarian options. They do have substitutions for meat - but not really too many options. Service used to be wonderful as well except for the recent visit where the lady letting people in at the door was acting quite rude. Also, a bit pricy but the beautiful location and ambiance may make up for it.
Great service, and a beautiful place. We had avo smash and breakfast sandwich with our latte. Loved the sandwich. I would rate 5 stars but they were out of a bunch of items that day :(
Good food but annoying service. You have to order from your phone, with no wait staff support to answer questions or help with modifications. The wait staff seem to exist purely to take the food from the counter to the table.
After several good experiences, today was sub par from seating to service. A disorganized hostess barked out commands how to line up without an offer of apology for the wait while they were attending to other business. Food delivery was piecemeal, and our drink order arrived near the end of the meal. Be mindful you prepay the meal and the tip, so sub par service is rewarded.
