I love the atmosphere here and the friendly baristas. The line can go a little slow but that's expected during peak hours. My mochas are consistent every time. I love coming here! Reasonably priced.
One of best local coffee shops offering unique coffee flavors and drinks and food
This place is a locals gem. I drive 10 minutes to get here from Lemon Grove. Indoor seating offers good space between tables. Outdoor seating is good. People often bring friendly dogs and quietly enjoy their visit. The espresso has a sweetness that is not your usual rich and bold shot. The coffee is just plain good. Pastries and food are always very good. The staff are generally so busy they don't interact much. Just a hello and a smile is enough to keep the day positive. Highly recommend this place.
This is our favorite Lake Murray neighborhood coffee house now! Great coffee, service and atmosphere! Cannot say enough about this warm and welcoming coffee house. Free wifi, free dog treats and just a great place to relax and enjoy a wide variety of both tasty food and smooth coffees. Our coffee was robust but smooth, NOT over-roasted.
Wonderful, sweet people here. Ordered an avocado toast, waited almost a half hour for it, and it came out cold. They seem overwhelmed in the kitchen.
Warm and inviting. Buzzing with people from the community. Friendly dogs on the patio, service dogs only inside please. Plated meals, bakery cabinet, and creative coffees. Two vegan and gluten-free baked goods thebdaybI visited, and the GF pumpkin scone was not dry! A place to work, read, or socialize!
Came here on Dec 27 morning for the first time and had an unpleasant experience! 1. I waited for 20min and didn’t hear they called my name or the order’s. I’m pretty sure they did not, since I sat not too far from the counter. And also, I noticed that the customers who ordered before and after me got their drinks! I came ask the staff and she didn’t act really sorry. Surprisingly, she said “I already made it, and someone came take the order”. Excuse me?! So what’s the point of giving each customer the receipt with the order number and item on it? You should have checked it before handing out the items!!! 2. She made one for me again. I can feel she was very unhappy with me through the way she called out the order and said sorry. Hmmm, what did I do wrong??? 3. It wasn’t too crowded but super noisy. A woman pulled up the metal chair, and 2 kids stomped on the floor for 5 mins at the same time. Many people came here to work, including me, and I can see how annoyed they were due to the noise. Dont think I will recommend this coffee shop to my friends…
Best coffee within miles of here. Great knowledgeable and service-oriented staff.
One of the best coffee spots in San Diego County.
The coffee here is most comparable to my home state (Washington). The baristas are always so helpful and welcoming when I visit. I love the breakfast sandwich they serve here. It can be a bit pricey but I think its worth it 👌🏼
Place has amazing ambiance to sit and sip your coffee. You get wide choice of coffees and eateries. We loved our mocha and Barista Ben’s latte with bagel and spinach quiche.
I have been to Brew Spot three times. It has a down to earth vibe that you don't get at Starbucks or Peetes. Coffee is very good. Their pastries are good but there is room for improvement. It's a relaxed place to hang out and visit with friends.
Came here for the first time with a friend the other week. Or coffees came out warm rather than hot so drinking them outside just made them cold faster, so not as delicious. We shared a breakfast sandwich that had a "beyond" patty because they ran out of breakfast burritos. I think these items, they said, are those microwaveable ones that come from Costco or somewhere, so these aren't exactly freshly made. I definitely would not come back here for food. I might come back to try the coffee again but with better options nearby, I might not.
I love this place and my whole family stops by constantly for drinks and food. The customer service is also great and really appreciate that if something goes wrong then they do their best to make it right by the customer. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.
Updating to acknowledge the amazing customer service this morning. They were busier than I've ever seen them and I messed up my order. The barista was beyond gracious in making me feel better as well as going above and beyond to fix it for me. In a moment where I would normally feel stupid, I actually left feeling great. Kudos to Brew team and this is why I return again and again. Awesome place with yummy food and drinks!
Great place to work. Wifi is good for 2 hours and you get a code on your receipt after buying something. A lot of people bring their dogs and sit outside. A couple of vegan food and pastry options! The americano was delightful. Lots of seating. Fairly busy but not too crazy/comes and goes.
Coffee was good but there were other issues. Don't ask me three times as I am standing in front of you if I want my pastry heated. You weren't paying attention and were busy doing whatever on the register. Pay attention! Two big signs are in the front windows that said no dogs except service dogs are allowed inside. Well there were two dogs in the shop. The dog owners knew the staff. I guess that makes it right. Fyi- I am a dog owner. One staff was petting one very hairy dog and then walked behind the food counter where she proceeded to brush off all the dog hair on her clothes near the pastries and coffee machine. We won't be back there.
Great coffee, atmosphere and people. Love coming here and bringing my daughter on coffee shop dates. They've got a little free library we like to trade books at and nice outdoor patio too. Staff is always very friendly. Love that they also have a wide range of drinks avail, especially their rose and lavender lattes
A happening coffee shop with quite a lot of seating and drink options. First time in, everyone was nice and made a recommendation on the coffee beans they had for sale. The drinks came out quick and tasted good. I didn’t realize how big the shop was from the inside, lots of seating and music playing so you could have conversations with people and not feel like you were loud. They served the in store drinks in actual glassware, which made it feel more like a traditional coffee shop as compared to a Starbucks.
Wow! Live music and I'm talking about music. Great experience and awesome atmosphere, great place to chill and enjoy a good fresh cup of coffee and get free jazz music with real peps playing real instruments. We need more places like this one for sure.
