This was a very pleasant surprise during my vacation trip with my family. The customer service was amazing and so was the coffee. My wife and I detoured to make a second trip and the end of our vacation because we enjoyed it so much. We will definitely be stopping by when we are in the area again.
Really nice coffee shop, I come here often to get work done and meet up with friends. I almost always purchase something here to show my love and support for Suju's. Today however, as soon as I had arrived, maybe 3-5 minutes into sitting down and getting settled; the manager/owner who was roasting the coffee beans came up to me and addressed that I purchase something or leave the coffee shop immediately. Trying to explain myself(that I had just gotten here and am also disabled in crutches), the manager/owner continued to speak to me in a hostile manner. I'm not one to usually leave reviews, but the way he handled the situation(from his approach to the dialogue, even after) was incredibly poor. I most likely will not be coming back here again. As a business your customer acquisition is everything, and this might just be me but simply "being nice" goes hand in hand with your customer acquisition. Thanks for being my go-to spot, until now. I guess I'll just show my support to corporate companies like Starbucks and Philz lol.
Fantastic coffee place. I've never been served a bad espresso here. Great place for a cup of coffee and a snack.
Coffee was good and its a huge cafe so you can bring in your laptop or a nice book and just enjoy your coffee in a good atmosphere.
i had a sandwhich here this morning. it was ok, but gave me an intestinal infection/diarrhea. i ate nothing else today 😭
Nice atmosphere and good selections of coffee and cake/pastry
Great place to hang out Good vibes in the atmosphere but if you're more of the whiskey Bent tipe , You'll still enjoy yourself, trade your Starbucks cup for a Suju's By the way Tell a Friend ( Alpha Beta ) 😎😂👍 Fremont natives remember lol 😂😆
It's a different experience, but I really don't go to a lot of coffee shops. It's like being in a library, but you're able to get coffee and food instead of books.
Very chill low-key place. It's a locals favorite. Their coffee is above average. Lots of people just come here to do work and stuffs.
This Suju’s is okay. Staff doesn’t seem friendly or like they want to be there at all. Sometimes my drink is delicious sometimes it has no flavor. You never really know.
Decent cappuccino: the L gets 4 shots of espresso, but personally I found it still a bit weak. Should have asked for an extra shot! Friendly and efficient service. The outdoor seating is really too cold for winter unless you bundle up. Plenty of space indoors. Somewhat "industrial" feel to the decor & atmosphere, but ample space for those having a social meetup vs people just parked there working. Baked goods looked tempting but I didn't partake. Loved the fact that they have a kale/spinach croissant offering.
Without a doubt, Suju's has some of the best sandwiches the East Bay has to offer. Friendly staff, wi-fi, and hot coffee! The only thing from keeping it from becoming a 5 star is if they had more couches and lounge chairs that encouraged remote workers to make it their spot of choice while working through their lunches!
The espresso was flavorless for a 12 oz, 2-shot latte. The sandwich I ordered - grilled cheese (pepper jack) on rye with tomato - was barely grilled. The cheese wasn't melted. The sausage, egg and cheese baguette was OK - similar in flavor to Carl's Jr. Then we ordered a cinnamon roll and a lemon bar. The lemon bar barely tasted like lemon. The cinnamon roll was better after it was warmed up. The atmosphere was totally chill. It was fairly crowded inside but we found seating in the sun outside.
Pleasant, reasonably priced coffee shop. Packed on a Sunday afternoon so they must be doing things right by their customers.
Suju's coffee is so good and strong. The staff is awesome and the pastries are great. I love the spinach croissants.
Always passed this place but decided to stop in and grab a cold brew. I wasn't disappointed.
Cute local coffee shop. Nice selection of quirky coffee mugs. Breakfast sandwiches are made fresh and are customizable (I.e. not premade microwaved ones like some other coffee shops)
Excellent. Great service. Great breakfast sandwiches and coffee. The kind of place you want to go on a Sunday with a book and sit in the sun and enjoy a leisurely B/F and Coffee. Ample parking. Ample time is what you need to take with you to really enjoy this delightful place.
got a blueberry smoothie. it was great. also had the strawberry cheese croissant. she asked if I'd like it heated so sure why not. well, it came out limp and soggy so im guessing they microwave it and not flash bake it warm. that was wildly disappointing. 2 star for the croissant, 4 star for the smoothie so 3 star review. I'll come back but ' just say no' to warm croissants.
I love this coffee shop. My friends visit here every Saturday morning
