Best thing of this place is that they brew coffee by cup. Good place for a very fresh coffee

Coffee lovers unite! Philz is so much better than larger chain coffee bars that you'll wonder why you ever went to those!!! Every barista is very friendly and your drink is always crafted with love just for you. Don't pass by. Stop on and find out how great coffee can be!
If anyone wants coffee, this is definitely the place to go to. Compared to Starbucks or even peets I'd def prefer Philz. They have earned a customer for life. Update: still awesome👌 . Shout out to Iris for making thr best coffee philtered soul with oatmilk ever .. LOVE this place
This is my goto place to get coffee in Fremont. Location is great, central location to all of Fremont. With their ordering w mobile app, it makes queuing up to order and wait a breeze. Sometimes lunch time it make take them 35 minutes to make a cup but I think it’s worth the wait once you try their coffee. My favorite is Philtered Soul. There is so much rain this year, they even have to take out the sandbags.
A little too noisy, a little slow wheb they have many customers. Not a fancy place to chill but great staff and service!
One of my go-to coffee places, I can sit here all day, enjoy the vibe and energy of this place all the time. It is crowded and that tells a lot about the amazing coffee and energy of this place.
Of course, I love this place. I don’t know if I can live without my Philtered Soul. If you’re into the hazelnut and chocolate flavor, you have to get this drink without any milk to really taste the quality of the coffee.
Fun stop to get a dark chocolate mocha. I think it was Tasori Mocha? Either way. Delicious. But very, very sweet. I had to split into 4 portions. So my 1 cup lasted 4 days. And 1 iced out of the deal. There is plenty of seating. Mostly heads dugg into laptops. Outdoor seating with canopies. There's nothing wrong with Vitamin D, though. Prices are fair to moderate. Lots of sweets to decide your pallette choices. Creative bench seating waiting for your cup-o-joe with stickers strategically places from everything everything. Name plates of your barista and their favorites so you know whose making up your brew. I smelled fresh bean in the air. Guess what. They grind your bean on order. I loved this place when I worked in Palo Alot some moons ago. It retains that beauty now. In this day and age. Enjoy a brew here. And the environment of a Cafe.

Flies sitting on top of the food items, I regret ordering chocolate baba, spoke with manager (Lisa) she mentioned there is an issue and they are aware but the food items are all in the open with no cover. Pic shows fly in the pastry :(

This really is a nice place just to study, chill, and enjoy good coffee. If you like your environments relatively quiet when studying, you may want to bring noise cancelling headphones as the music (as chill as it is) does run a bit loud and often contains lyrics. Overall nice place to study or just hang out catching up with friends.
Good coffee as always but the wait is long
Service is always nice. Most of the time I go they are really busy and there's no where to sit. Be prepared to wait some time to get your order during peak coffee times
Was in the mood for some coffee and wasn't near my usual favorite spot in Oakland. So I googled a pour over coffee spot near me and this Phil's was about 0.7 miles from where I was located. When I arrived, there was plenty of parking. The inside is extremely spacious and the vibes are awesome. The music and the happy staff make it a pleasant place to experience. Another aspect that I enjoyed was the variety of coffee available and their ability to blend. Truly started my morning off right! 😁

As a decaf girlie I tend to get the medium roast sweet and creamy. When I get non decaf I usually go for the tesora blend. Soft pretzels are nice but only come with hot sauce or mustard!
Ordering online and picking up from this location was nearly seamless. The few recommendations I think need to be happen are: increasing the quantity of drinks that could be ordered online or provide a small explanation of why there is a limit to the customer. The other thing was of the four drinks I could order the consistency in operations was not quite there. One of the lids did not have a cap to prevent fluid leaking from the drinking hole and seemed odd when trying to understand what the reason was since one of those drinks were similar in order to another within the same order; only the size was different. Other than that, the quality of the drink is done well. The barista was able to fulfill all the special instructions including off menu “secret” drinks when ordering online. 👌
