I never write reviews but this was the worst breakfast I have ever had. I ordered eggs Benedict and the sauce did not seem to be hollandaise sauce. It looked and tasted like mayonnaise all over the plate. The protein portions are very small as well. The good reviews seem to be mostly about sweets or side dishes. I would not come here because it is expensive with the least amount of effort.
Of all the the breakfast options here in Carmel – by-the-sea a little Swiss café is the very best!!! Get there their ye old sweet option plate, super good with pancakes
My son said “this would probably win the best breakfast award (this is as good as grandmas food) and the food came at light speed” p.s. the artwork on the wall is hilarious!
What they do well, they do incredibly. This is one of the best waffles you will ever eat. Butter inside, cooked in butter, butter on top. Spring for the pecans and real maple syrup. Amazing.
Had a very good, tasty and healthy salad in this little bistrot, loved it. Too bad they did not serve Swiss rosti :-) Very friendly staff too! Recommended
I ordered the hamburger medium well, it was way overcooked. I sent it back and asked for medium, it came out well done so I sent it back again. The cook came out and started berating us in the dining area. After a 5 minute argument in front of everybody we settled the bill, paid for a burger that I didn't eat and went to in-n-out. Had a far better experience at a fast food restaurant. Go here at your own risk.

Quaint cute establishment with the sweetest people serving. The portions are huge and absolutely delicious. I do NOT say this lightly! It will without a doubt be the BEST hollandaise sauce you will EVER eat!!! If you are a hollandaise sauce fanatic like myself then this is a bucket list item. Not exaggerating. Bon appetit.
One of our favorite breakfast places in Carmel. Highly recommend their Eggs Benedict! Their pancakes are spongy and fluffy and worth trying. Thank you for the great friendly service!
SO DELICIOUS! this immediately became a family favorite, and we will certainly visit again. When family comes into town, we will bring them here.

A cute place, decent, professional sevice. Kind, but not especially friendly to strangers. The blintzes were the best I have had in years. Excellent cheese filling. The pancakes. The Central Coast seems fixated on thin pancakes. They just don't have the robust body or flavor of regularly thick pancakes. The have newspapers. Local travel guides and other reading materials I would definitely return.
The food is simply wow! Then, you have nicest servers ever! Great experience :). So happy I discovered this place 😍.
