Pork buns were nice but the breakfast bagel wasn’t good and gave me food poisoning.
This place has an eclectic menu which includes some great ramen. On my last visit, they were serving some homemade pork buns which were one of the best pork buns I've ever had. They were sort of in-between buns and dumplings with generous filling and a bun with great texture.
Stopped in for lunch. Asked the lovely lady behind the counter what type of Ramen was her favorite. She said the Wonton Ramen, so that's what I ordered + an iced green tea. Broth was rich and flavorful, noodles and wontons were perfectly done, and the egg and slices of pork made for a really delicious lunch. I enjoyed it at one of the outdoor tables, which was clean and well maintained. Highly recommend the Cafe Luna and the Ramen!
Very fresh food, and kind staff! Highly recommend the delicious turkey panini combo, and super green smoothie.
Cool coffee shop with tasty lunch offerings. An earlier review mentioned that they were cash only but we paid with card just fine. The lattes are decent. There is plenty of indoor seating and the shop is located in a beautiful plaza with many outdoor seating options as well. Next time we come we want to try the dumplings which are homemade!
This place had it all! And it was all delicious! From quiche, to smoothies, to pot stickers, to pastries, to ramen, to paninis, to coffee and tea!🍹☕🍵🍜🥟🥐 Veggie quiche was amazing, make sure to make it a combo to add salad and fruit! They were literally making the pot stickers on one of the tables so it was great to see they were truly homemade and fresh. Highly recommend! ⭐
Ramen, potstickers, salads are all very good. I try to visit every time I’m in town.
Nice cafe in Carmel with friendly and helpful staff, good food especially rice plate chicken...recommended
My first time here and I thought it was lovely. Had a really yummy salmon bagel, which had plenty of avocado and salmon on it. My partners breakfast sandwich had ciabatta, and was great too! The staff was super friendly. One woman was making kimchi on a table and she was chatting with a guests child about it. That was really cute to see too! Would definitely come back :)
Had lunch while in Carmel- the chicken pot stickers were especially delicious! They have both indoor and outdoor seating.
I’ve never experienced racism the way I did at Cafe Luna. My husband and I went on a 10/4. We ordered at the counter and when our food was ready our number was yelled and they rung a bell. Everyone else, all white people, had their meals taken to them. We are not white and did not feel welcomed after this. We observed this with three other tables. In 2021 there is no excuse for this! Update: it’s been over a year and the owner never bothered replying back, although I see them very active with other reviews. My experience was real and valid. We were not treated equally to other white customers. Your silence is loud!
Over priced for the cake and coffee I had. Served it on super thin paper plate.
I'm traveling with my aging Asian family and we were so happy to discover this place! Ramen was not overly salty and the broth was rich in flavor. Potstickers were a hit with the kids.
Great food to start day at Carmel
I had a situation with billing while dining in here for my husband’s Bday brunch, and my credit card company cant do nothing about it! It was my mistake and i was charged $300 more than anticipated. I was in panic, thats a big overcharge amount!! I called the cafe and a nice lady gave me the owner, LUNA’s phone number. From the moment i started talking to her up to the time i finally got my money back, it was all SINCERE AND KIND answers from her, assuring me of all she can to HELP ME OUT, and return my money which she did and more! She answers my txts even on weekends, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LUNA’s CAFE NOT JUST FOR THERE GREAT FOOD, but most ESP FOR THE EXCEPTIONAL GOODNESS AND SERVICE THAT THE OWNER AND THE ESTABLISHMENT STANDS FOR!! THANK YOU LUNA!
Fantastic cafe in a wonderful location with spacious seating. They did not hold back with the breakfast sandwich; plenty of egg, bacon, cheese, and avocado, with a great toasted bun.
super cute little cafe that is tucked away in Carmel plaza but is worth the money that you spend to enjoy the surrounding scenery. their lemonade and açaí bowl were all i ordered and were both delicious and so incredibly fresh, but their iced coffee is also to die for !
Good coffee, delicious food and friendly service at this family run spot.
I only stopped in to buy a bottle of water, but I got service with a smile
This place is a gem in downtown Carmel. Friendly staff & great service! Luna, the owner, is very charming & makes sure her customers are taken care of. There are many tasty options on the menu from pastries to Ramen. I love the ham & cheese quiche & the chicken Ramen! I definitely recommend Luna Café for locals & visitors alike.
