So this is sad. I ordered a croissant sandwich there and saw the male worker only have one glove on his hand and his other hand without a glove touching the eggs. I asked for a refund and the female store owner refused saying “we won’t give you a refund because he’s making the sandwich right now.” My partner told me that it wasn’t right to not give a refund based on sanitation issues and was obviously upset. The female store owner then gave $7 back (the sand which was $10) so she could have easily just given the $2 back but she didn’t. Instead she said “normally I would give a full refund but your partner is cursing” which she wasn’t. So she blames not giving a refund based on my partner’s emotions which is unacceptable. Don’t go here. Customer service is awful and everything is from a box.
Meh. Coffee tasted ok but was Luke warm. Place was a little dirty and disheveled looking. Bathroom was dirty too.
Man what a shame. Cool spot but won't be going back. My girlfriend and I went there for tea, coffee, and some simple breakfast. I thought ads these days were bad enough, but how would you like an "ad" of a Twitter or Instagram review of this place appearing every 15 seconds on the menu. Yeah, the digital menu on the TV fades away every 15 seconds to show some random comment of someone praising this place. We timed it, it happens Every. 15. Seconds. 1. This disruption makes it impossible to order. The guy working the counter finally gave us physical menus to reference. 2. Why do we need to see these positive reviews? I'm already in the store. I've already arrived to give you my money. Direct those ads to people who aren't in your store. It serves no purpose other than to frustrate the customers who are trying to read the menu. I ordered a coffee and avocado toast. She got tea and yogurt. Well - she wanted to order yogurt but they were out. The coffee was extremely bitter. The tea was good and the avocado toast was delicious with a nice thick, hearty slice of rustic bread. Delicious. Unfortunately, the bitter coffee, absence of yogurt, and incessant menu disruption was too much. Maybe I hit this place on a bad day, but I can't justify going higher than 2 stars.
Took a while to find a coffee shop after moving but this coffee shop is by far the best I’ve been to since being in Cali. Can’t wait to come back.
I love the light roast coffee. Overall a great coffee spot!
I wish the hours were later in the day, but other than that, this coffee shop is awesome! They have great drinks, cool lighting, clean store, convenient location for VATP residents and great customer service.
Great local coffee shop
Just found this place and I absolutely love it. The staff is very friendly had helpful. The decor is so fun. Definitely coffee shop vibes but it's own uniqueness. The coffee is awesome, haven't tried the tea yet. I have also had a few food items and all were great. I especially enjoyed the avocado toast. The bread was high quality with the right amount of chew and crunch. Really good. I have found my new spot!
This is a newish coffee shop located inside a mixed use development off the freeway in a pretty desolate stretch of road. Wasn't impressed by the croissant breakfast sandwich which was pretty amazingly served cold despite the fact that it was not busy. The drip coffee was very good, no worries in that department. The interior is almost absurdly small considering the isolation of the development and there is no dedicated outdoor seating which also seems pretty dumb.
Tasty but too pricey. Not worth it.
I just found this little coffee shop. It's an amazing place. Good coffee, good service, and easy to find. I will return!
Delicious food and excellent service, every time ! I ordered the fig and goat cheese toast, it was divine and worth every calorie. Cool place to hang out too. I am loving the vibe.
I ordered the chocolate cookies and they still had them at the store, but they gave me the ube ones instead. Also the person who was taking my order thought I ordered a lemon poppyseed muffin, but I was ordering a lemon scone. They didn’t have the lemon scone or muffin. The ube cookies they gave me were really good, but the service was disappointing. I was pleased with their decor, but not with the lack of pastries they had. I enjoyed that they had seasonal pumpkin spice cookies and lattes too. I will update this review or make a new one once I try the drinks there.
So happy to see a coffee shop in Village at the Park. Delicious pastries. Coffee could be stronger but still yummy! The team was great!
I visited the Common Perk 4 days in a row ordering coffee drinks for the family. The coffee was very good, drinks made correctly and best of all the staff was very friendly. I would definitely return when I visit the area in the future!
Loved their food/pastry/drink - better then most places similar. Their breakfast sandwhich has a house made chipotle jam that was really amazing! The one downside is their Cafe space - it's small and really doesn't encourage spending much time there.
It's charming, the food is good, and its very involved in the community. My only issue is the pricing when I comes to coffee. Its a bit difficult to justify paying $6.47 for a small iced vanilla coffee when I can drive two more minutes to Tree Lounge and get the same thing for $4.50. And I do mean the same thing, because their brews taste the same. Delicious, but the same.
Turkey Pesto Sandwhich was delicious afternoon.... and Great strong coffee in the am! Love it. Thank you guys.
Excellent coffee…friendly staff…fresh tasty food…good vibes…5 star!
Absolutely delicious coffee. I am so happy I found this place and I can't wait to go back for breakfast/ brunch because the food I saw people enjoying looked delicious. I often walk my dog past the cafe and would love the option to leash her outside while I'm ordering my coffee 😊
