Dirty chai is delicious. They were fairly busy when we visited but still managed to serve us quickly and were so kind.

Cozy coffee ☕️ cafe on the beach. Great capuchino and espresso.

Kraken Coffee was wonderful! I went there 4 mornings in a row while visiting Avila Beach and ordered something different each time. Everything was tasty and the staff was very sweet and friendly. The bacon date scone and the cold brew were my favorite.

The cappuccino was exceptional. I’m a coffee aficionado, and it’s so hard to find good coffee these days, but this good enough to post a five star review. I don’t normally get oat milk, but this one is really good. Highly recommend!

Wow, so good! The staff was great, as was the coffee. You won't regret the bacon fig scone!

Typical of coffee shops, but with a super crew to wait on you.

Super relaxed place to grab a coffee and breakfast pastry or breakfast burrito at the end of the Pismo Beach Pier. Lattes always made perfectly with foam art to boot! Parker and Carlie super helpful!

Great breakfast burritos and pastries. The coffee and black mango tea are good too.

We love coming to Kraken every time we visit Pismo or Avila beach. We had the best vanilla lattes of our lives yesterday. Thank you! Unfortunately, the young lady at the register was rude but other than that we loved the barista and his beautifully delicious creations so I’ll still leave 5 stars.

Excellent coffee. Right on the main walk, cool vibe inside, and an upstairs area to hand out and work as needed. Nice.

Totally not worth it. 25 minutes to get a cold coffee that was suppose to be hot. Save your money and time.

Fun place to enjoy a coffee and get some work done. The drip coffee has a lot of flavor. The iced latte was good but could have been a little stronger since the coffee they offer is so flavorful.

My husband and I were visiting Avila Beach for the first time and we stopped in Kraken Coffee for cold Nitro Brew. They were out of Nitro (no big deal) so we ordered iced coffee instead. The young woman that served us was challenged to interact with us on the most basic level. She had the personality of a wet blanket. When we got the iced coffee we went to add half and half and they were out of half and half. The young woman seemed so aggravated with us at that point and the coffee was just so-so.

Great coffee, pastries, and view of the ocean. But beware they seemed to have dropped their use of the shared restroom. So the next closest restroom is at the base of the pier which makes working remotely here difficult.

The American Southwest stole my heart, but Avila Beach was one of those places where I’d rather didn’t want to leave. Never. Drop me there and I’d never look back. Kraken Coffee would be the place I’d come every morning. Nah… wake up. I was just an hour and a half in Avila. But the cappuccino and ice cream were amazing.
