We stopped in for a post-hike snack. We tried the Happy Mango smoothie and the Baja Bowl (acai). Both were delicious- you can tell the recipes were skillfully crafted to reflect their core values of eating healthy foods to fuel the body. The ginger and turmeric in the Happy Mango packed a punch, in a good way. The Baja Bowl was sooo good, I loved the contrast in texture with the acai, fruit, peanut butter, and all the granola and seeds. There are lots of options on the menu, as well! So many options looked delicious. Something else noteworthy is how community oriented this shop / the owners are. This shop sources their ingredients locally, they have hiking meet ups and events that you can attend, a thrift / vintage clothes section. There's also a cozy seating area you can snuggle up and read your favorite book or play a board game with friends. The owners, Chantal and James, did an excellent job creating this space. Not only is it super cute, but it's also a little safe haven within the community as well.
I've been multiple times now to Mellow Banana. Every time I've ordered coffee with steamed oat milk, which was delicious, and obviously high quality beans. But the avocado toast...!!! This isn't something I typically order out, because I make it at home. A lot. And I know what I like. But I was in a situation where I knew I needed something to eat and wouldn't have that opportunity for the next couple of hours, so I ordered it from Mellow Banana. SO GOOD. The toast was a thick and chewy whole grain, the avocado was fresh and generous, it was perfectly seasoned, and topped with micro greens. And I finally tried the açai bowl, which was out standing on every level. The environment is bright and comfy and eclectic, the staff are friendly and helpful, the music is both uplifting and soothing, and there are little reminders all over that this is a welcoming space for truly everyone. I will definitely be back!
Love this place! Baja bowl was my favorite but tried the Zion bowl today and it's just as delicious if not more. Tastiest acai bowls around hands diwn. Never had a bad experience at this local spot, I highly recommend.
The best smoothies, made with real delicious ingredients, served in a beautiful environment filled with light and plants! I haven’t indulged in their other gorgeous creations like bowls and toast, because their drinks are like a meal and I always want to get my favorite (Supergreens). Yesterday I finally tried Volcano Keto and it was amazing—rich flavors—sooo good. I find myself craving them time and again…
Mellow Banana is a gem! Chantal and James, the owners, have poured so much attention into every aspect of the shop - sourcing local, high quality ingredients, crafting delicious recipes, and creating a bright, inviting, aesthetic atmosphere - no details were spared! Cannot recommend this shop enough. The acai bowls in particular are absolutely fantastic. If you're in AG and want a healthy, affordable option for your next meal, snack, or coffee break, look no further than Mellow Banana 😍
Took 20 + min to get my smoothie . Then they forgot my boyfriends smoothie so we just left! I had to go somewhere

Got the Aloha Bowl, Canyon Bowl, and an Iced Coffee. All were excellent and I love the selection of vintage clothes they’ve curated as well!

I can't say enough good things about this place. The smoothies are delicious, the waffles look and smell amazing (I still haven't tried one yet though). The owners are so friendly and welcoming. My dog gets excited whenever we pull into the knowing that she'll be getting a treat too! Love,love, love it here.

Amazing Acai-Bowls and delicious waffles!
My husband and I stopped by and ordered the mellow banana smoothie and Baja açaí bowl. The shop itself is adorable and love all the unique touches and plants. Customer service was great and the owners were extremely friendly. Bowl and smoothie were super fresh and good portions. Will def come again next time we are in town.
Such a cute place with a chill vibe! Had their Aloha Açaí bowl and was not disappointed! We are definitely coming back again before we had back to LA.
