Nice, clean environment! She took the time to explain the menu to me and the coffee was so delicious. Extra points because they make their syrups in house.

Great coffee! Personally I’m not a big fan of really strong coffee which is like every coffee here. But it’s still great! Definitely a must try!

Chill spot for pour overs, cortados, and macchiatos that don't come in grande size.

Mediocre at best for the overpriced latte. Milky with low flavor and even with the high price it wasn't worth finishing the drink. I thought with their location and amenities near by they would try to pull more customers but it was just not worth it and will not go back again

If you are a coffee lover, this place is a must! It is more like specialty coffee so I wouldn’t expect super sugary drinks like a Starbs or Dutch drink but it’s still so delicious! Great place to get work done and they even have a little walk up window and area to sit outside. If you have kids, there’s a playground right around the corner with so much shade ☺️

Great coffee. Tried the cereal killer- cinnamon flavored with Captain crunch cereal sprinkled on top. Surprisingly not overly sweet. On the side of the building is a little park. Was able to sit and chat with wife while kid played on the playground a few feet away. Nice atmosphere and the batista seemed to really enjoy what he was making. Very interested in making the best drink for me and my family members. Was told that artwork in park and walls are from local artists in an effort to get them exposed. Changes often with different artists.

Great coffee , okay pastries, never many items on the menu, and they are usually out of a couple menu items.

This place made the best cappuccino I’ve ever had. I’m still comparing every capp I get to this place hoping to find one as delicate and flavorful as these guys did. 10/10

If you look at my other reviews you will see that I’ve only given positive reviews. I hate to be negative so if you own this coffee shop please use my review as constructive criticism. I am a die hard Starbucks customer..you know exactly what to expect and they deliver at least 99% of the time. But I love to explore local shops and I had seen some buzz about Driftwood online and since we had an errand in Peoria we decided to try it. 1st Impression outside was meh. Nothing unique or special to make it stand out and inviting 1st impression inside: YIKES! it was dinghy and worn and dirty….not crumbs on the table dirty but walls, floors and tables were grimy. I’ve seen other review say it was cute but I didn’t see it. What I did see was no cohesive decor, half dead plants and worn out furniture. We had planned to drink our coffee in but I didn’t want to sit down anywhere. Ordering the drinks was easy enough, the barista was nice enough if not a little bored. We were the only ones getting coffee at the time but it took longer than necessary. It wasn’t hand pulled so not sure what the deal was. They gave me my breve latte in a paper cup without a lid. I asked where the lids were and the barista that made our drinks pointed them out right there on the counter where I picked up my drink. He didn’t offer to put one on for me or give me a have a nice day or even a smile. Then he gave me my Husbands iced americano which should look pretty dark instead it was very pale and watered down looking like weak coffee. My latte was luke warm. On top of all this both baristas were rubbing their hands through their hair. I find it interesting that the software they use to check out wants you to choose a tip (unfortunately Starbucks does it too now) but for what? Tips are for above and beyond customer service but they didn’t even meet low expectations. All in all I was very disappointed and won’t return.

I did not get to order, but I will. I was at an event and got distracted! I hope this doesn't hurt the stars rating.

One of my absolute favorite coffee shops! Dominic is a sweetheart and most of the staff make the experience so pleasant. But, of course, the coffee is incredible.

The customer service was good, but I hope they continue to improve the roast of their drip coffee. It tasted underdeveloped to me.

Fantastic coffee and great chill atmosphere. If you are looking for a non-starbucks options this is an oasis for coffee in a sea of chain bleh.

It was fine. The service was painstakingly slow and the cashier wasn’t very friendly/welcoming. The lavender latte was really syrupy but the chai was pretty good

Tried the hot Honey Lavender coffee. What a delightful surprise! Will return to try more.
