A beautiful cafe that makes for a great weekend date. This Pine Brook neighborhood is really starting to improve! Grab a bite here, sip on a coffee while you shop around On&On next door and then maybe go throw some axes!
I went to Retro Cafe today for coffee. I was in town to see friends and thought I’d check out this new cafe. My barista was Jillian. (so cute ☺️, I may or may not have ordered a few things just to talk to her). Anyways 😂. So, needless to say the staff here are friendly and approachable. The espresso I order was wonderful, the place was clean and organized. The atmosphere is welcoming, the esthetic is balanced, new and modern. I found out the the sandwich’s and pastries are all made fresh each day by the owner and the drink menu is diverse and curated. This place is a welcome introduction to the small business to the area. Cool story it turns out the cafe is owned by the same management of On and On vintage shop. That’s one of my favorite vintage spots in Pennsylvania. Jillian is a great representative of the business and seem very invested in its success. It’s always a pleasure to see employees invest in local businesses. I wish the owners and staff at Retro Cafe the very best. I pray you guys continues to develop and grow and be very successful.
My coworkers and I walk to Retro Cafe on our breaks about 2 days a week for coffees, lattes, and bagels. We've also stopped for lunch to get their specials, soups, and sandwiches. They use fresh National Bakery bagels, so the quality and taste is top tier. They have very modest prices compared to other locally-owned cafes and even the big name chain coffee shops! For the high quality food, drinks, and service they provide, it's more than reasonable! It's super cute and clean inside, and everyone is so nice!! We love this place!
I'm always happy to support any local businesses that open up, especially a coffee place! I've been here a handful of times, and the drinks are great, the food always satisfies, and prices are extremely fair. I also like the location. It's right next to National Bakery, so the parking is really convenient, and it has that cozy neighborhood feel. The service is great, and they all seem to love what they do, which just adds to the cozy cafe feeling you get when visiting. Did I mention the barista is cute as heck too?
Have had lattes, cappuccinos, and sandwiches on several occasions (both dine in and takeout), and each time the drinks and food have been delicious, and the staff has been phenomenal. The cafe is small but feels spacious, and it is very clean. The retro game boards on the wall are fun to look at, and they also featured art (I think Carl Salvo?) that I also enjoyed.
As an NEPA-ian, this is such a great place to get something to eat either Breakfast or Lunch.
My favorites are the Egg Sandwich, their Tomato soup, their grilled cheese, and their Lemon Blush Smoothie, I love their items, and even if I'm not into coffee, this is still a great spot to eat, and I'd recommend it to all of my local friends, who want something different for a change.
I'd just wished they would have a ton of more menu items and drinks that aren't coffee related added(like more International Sodas in addition to the Mexican Coca-Cola, or more unique menu items that would rotate daily)
This is a great new coffee shop in the area. Friendly staff and great coffee. Tasty food and snacks as well. Comfortable atmosphere, plenty of seating, and lots of outlets to charge you gadgets is always a plus. Definitely check the Retro Cafe out!
WOW. Absolutely adore this place!! The prices and quality are truly out of this world!! Definitely stop in for a quick bite or a drink. My coffee was killer and the Watermelon refresher is to die for!!! 💖
Our new favorite spot! We love the variety on the menu- toasts, snacks, smoothies and lunch options are great. Staff is super friendly and atmosphere is fun!
