Mansour's Market

Such a great little spot. The place is not too far from 81 so if you're traveling it makes for a great stop. My husband and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast, and the staff is also super friendly. I will definitely make this a recurring stop going forward.

Coffee not tasty. their signature dish "Giro" is not tasty and very mediocre. the rest did not want to try.

We went on a Wednesday afternoon.

Food:
The spinach tortellini soup is boiled water with spinach added. Similarly, the red pepper bisque tastes like jarred tomato sauce with red pepper added no cream element at all. I got white wine poached salmon. The alcohol was not rendered out and the fish was served cold with a fishy after taste indicating it had not been made fresh.

Service:
Inattentive. No water or refills were offered. Check took forever to get and even longer to be picked up. No questions about quality were asked when a full cup of soup or fillet was returned.

Overall:
Not great. Would not return. I think they stay in business because there arent many competitors for this market in the area.

So we've lived in this historic hill section of Scranton for a little over 4 yrs. I've driving by this place countless times.
This morning my wife was in the mood for home fries with breakfast, she googled restaurants near our location and this place popped up in the map.
After reading the reviews I just had to see it for my self.

Many of my friends have gone here for years but I just got the opportunity to try it today. I was very favorably impressed with both the atmosphere (love the historic building) and the unique food. The wait staff was very attentive and polite plus our food arrived promptly. The only small constructive suggestion I have is to place some sound-deadening decor like window coverings or wall hanging. All restaurants now are too noisy and cacophonous. Also, some folks may find the menu limited but that was not an issue with me. Otherwise I highly recommend it.

Absolutely wonderful! Ended up getting a Granana, and one of their Raspberry and Brie croissants and it all was delicious. The main barista there was epic and made sure to help me find a drink I liked since I was hesitant and let me tell you, the Chai Latte with Almond Milk was divine!!

Customer service was good, decor was good coffee , ginger peach tea and food was not my idea of a good lunch on a sunny day. My chicken salad was damn near all bread. It got a 3 for decor and customer services.
