This place is so cool. The attendant was very nice. I ordered an egg cheese on a biscuit. The sandwiche was great. I also ordered a hot chocolate. I will be returing
My husband and I just moved to Lawrenceville, so we decided to try this place. We both got lattes with 2 double shots of espresso. Lydia, our barista, was great! She made us excellent espressos--the beans were not over- or under-extracted like so many other coffee shops--she knew what she was doing! We were also excited that they use De Fer coffee, which used to be our go-to café when we lived in the Strip District. We're so glad we stopped by and we'll definitely be back!
Friendly and fast service. Great tasting coffee — I got a 16 oz Americano, which amazingly has 2 full shots. The interior walls display cool artwork and the back of the shop has a bookcase packed with cooking books. I could spend all day checking out the decor and listening to the music they have playing at a perfect volume in the shop.
The man who owns this coffee shop seems to be purely lazy. Given that one of the baristas that I met relayed to me that they have to go accross the street themselves to his other business to restock on items when they run low instead of having someone else take care of that. Which just seems plain dumb because youre asking for a patron to steal behind the counter with that type of business structure because they only have one barista at a time working there. Also, his coffee is mediocre at best and knowing that he puts far too much responsibility on his baristas to run it for him is careless… and it does not promote a smooth flow of operations for the customers either. Maybe we as paying customers should support businesses that treat their employees like human beings at the very least. The owner doesnt even provide enough options on the menu for customers let alone. Whoever bakes their treats to taste like dry sand paper should probably quit too.
Stopped here with my friend prior to heading home. I got the honey bee oat milk latte 🤤 it was good. Not too sweet which made me happy. My friend said the Chai there is the best in the city. I also ordered a blueberry muffin. That was meh, a little dry but I heard the sandwiches are amazing. I didn't try it because it had bacon on it but my friend totally swears by them. The Brista was kind and had good customer service.
Great spot! Very good matcha lattes and the baristas are friendly
Amend: Had a weird experience with a guy barista where he basically insinuated he didn't feel like putting on a pot of the single origin coffee?? Not really a big deal--just had been really excited to take an out of town guest and I think my guest was very underwhelmed by the experience and the coffee.
Coffee shop? They only have 2 sugar free flavors - vanilla and caramel - yawn. I had to pay EXTRA for Almond Milk - what 3 tablespoons of Almond Milk cost $.75 - really? The worst of it, is that they kicked us out!!! My friend didn't even get to drink her tea yet! There were 4 people sitting on their computers - one that was sleeping and we had to leave because of reaching capacity!! How about the 4 that was there before us? The worker said that she bought 2 coffees and she's a regular! Going to Fancypants Popcorn for coffee next time!

Cute cafe but unfortunately on the day we visited the coffees just weren't up to the standard of some of the better cafes in the city.
