I needed some coffee on the way to an appointment and this cute place caught my eye. Walking in I was greeted with a smile and pleasantries. Looking up at the simple, giant chalk board menu I already knew I wanted to come back since they had a variety of beverages. The barista was pleasant and patient as I took time to decide on my order. My order was taken and was promptly delivered as I chose a cozy spot to sit. I sipped on my americano and finally admired the modern and home like feel the coffee shop provided. The WIFI had trouble working but maybe it was a blessing to force me to actually take in the experience. Thank you Inkwell, keep up the good work.

My favorite coffee shop to sit down to work :) Delicious espresso, wonderful music, company, and a cozy space! Definitely try this spot if you've never been!

Inkwell has as you could ask for in a coffee shop:
Decent coffee
Nice baristas
Large front windows
Painted black plywood floors
Silver old fashioned ceiling
Schmancy hanging lights over the bar
An old chandelier over the table
White painted brick
Unpainted brick
Black metal + new wood
Old, distressed wood
White painted wood
Chalkboard menu
Succulents
Leafy plants
Very bright, colorful featured local art
Not to mention, lots of great people stopping by.

My only critiques are that the coffee is good but not amazing, and it seems like Inkwell is trying to do a bit too much with the decor. But give them some time to refine and it'll be amazing

Excellent little coffee shop in Lawrenceville. Great staff, great prices, excellent coffee. Only caveat is that the interior is small and not the best place to study or work. But, it's a great place to socialize and enjoy the cafe'.

Awesome selection of coffee, with amazing sugar free free flavors. Love the cute couches by the windows. Love the chill vibe here

Dropped in to have a quick flat white before a meeting. To my delight it was most unexpectedly tasty. The barista did a good job. I managed a comfy cushioned overstuff stuffed chair to sit and gather my thoughts for the day. Busy yet peaceful. People just chillin. I'll be back 4 sure. Give it a try if in Lawrenceville.

Love it here - Just wish they would join Coffee Tree Roasters in Shadyside and be open later.

One cannot simply describe how absolutely terrible the music is.

If you want to hear poorly socialized emo squealing ad infinitum, this is the place for you.

You might want to punch yourself in the face it's so bad.

But the espresso is great.

Nice, quiet atmosphere for reading and working. Friendly staff and vibes. My Earl Grey was good. Haven't tried the coffee but other customers seemed pleased. Will go again for sure

This coffee shop was cute and quaint, but a bit tight with a shop full of people. There is not much seating, and the closeness of the tables makes it hard to have privacy. Their Elixir Fixer drink is delicious and original with tumeric, honey, black pepper and a few other ingredients!
