The girl who works there needs to be more polite, we came on Friday Jan 6th at 4:30 pm and she was disrespectful with us. Not coming her again becoming of her. She is very bad

We visited on a weekend and the barista was rather rude. The coffee was so-so. We don’t go back because of the experience.

Wonderful coffee shop! Asked the barista what I should get, and they made me a pistachio mocha on the spot. Don't even know if that's on the menu! Pleasant staff, great atmosphere, superb music selection, and overall good coffee!

Seemed to have had better days. Coffee was ok but the inside definitely needs some remodeling and proper cleaning

Great staff, great coffee. Nothing special about the vibe, same as you'd expect from a coffee shop. But the baristas were super nice and greatly improved my experience.

New York City energy vibe. Tension... non-welcoming. There were 2 people includung me at 11:00 am.
I drink straight espresso every day. I seek out coffee shops and roasters. Espresso had caffeine so I got what I wanted, although very bitter for my personal taste.

Great spot to get coffee, other refreshments, or a quick bite. Very convenient location, especially if you are watching a show at the Benedum Center. I have tried both their hot lattes and hot chocolate. They are definitely on the sweet side, but also very warm and comforting. There is a rich chocolate flavor in the hot chocolate. Prices are quite reasonable too (around $4 or so for my large serving of got chocolate). Nice to know you are supporting a local coffee company. You can also buy coffee to brew at home or get a packaged snack. All in all, this is almost everything you'd want in a local coffee shop. Would be great if they had some home baked items though, but I don't think they do.

Once-dominant local coffee shop chain is on its last legs with this, one of a very few locations (possibly the only one?) they have left. Coffee was supermarket-quality at five times the price. Similarly, the only food options were protein bars, yogurt cups and frozen bagels that probably came straight from Giant Eagle. The lady behind the counter was very nice though.

So first of all this is the only place in the Silent Hill-esque world that is Pittsburgh in the morning hours with an actual restroom. You have to pay for coffee to get access but given the fact that no other place in this forsaken land will let you use a public restroom even WITH payment offered (other than the bus stop, whose restroom looks like a recreation of Nagasaki) I see this as fair and reasonable.
Now I am not a coffee drinker by nature, I find it often too bitter. So I wasn't expecting a lot from my caramel latte. HOWEVER my expectations were blown out of the water!! A sweet and yet potently flavored beverage that I would buy again and DID buy again. Its caffeine soothes my frazzled mind; its flavor soothes my fractured soul. Their menu boasts more than just caramel lattes too; you'll undoubtedly find what you need. Especially given the freedom of customization with espresso and flavor shots.
The customer service was friendly and cheerful and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, a feeling compounded by a magnificent mural on the wall. If you go ANYWHERE in Pittsburgh, you must go here.
