Arriviste Coffee Roasters — Shadyside

Third wave coffee shop. There were two choices of espresso when I went there. Good créma. Espresso comes with seltzer and a biscuit.

Also got the Stormy Daniels (cascara tea, ginger beer, and whiskey bitters) which was delicious and refreshing.

I so badly want to love it here, but I found the service lacking and un-welcoming. They also open much later than ideal. Will definitely be heading up the street to Round Table instead

Great modern coffee shop, high quality espresso drinks come with little lingua de gatto!

I love the space and the quality. Nice selection of designey and cycling magazines to peruse while you relax.

I like this little place. I haven't hung out, because of the pandemic, but it seems clean and inviting, if a bit sterile. The staff seems friendly. If I lived in walking distance, this would be a regular stop for me.

I had an eye doctor's appointment next door, and had my pupils dilated, just as I was trying to get an Uber, my phone died, I tried to call my girl-friend but her phone was on airplane mode. But the doctor's office was closing, so I had to get out and stumbled to the coffee shop. I asked the patrons there, but no one had a USB-C connector, neither was the barista. But the Barista was so kind to let me use his phone, so I called my girl-friend again, and waited there chatting about my misfortune and my reliance on technologies. The barista even downloaded the Uber app for me to use, but too bad there was a 2-step verification process I couldn't complete without my phone. The barista poured me a coffee, which was a very decent one, and kept me company, until my girl-friend called back to order me an Uber. The nicest thing was the coffee was on the house as he said, "you are in trouble, so it is on the house". Such a nice staff!!! Will definite go back.

I bring my dog here usually twice a week to order to-go coffee and after many weeks of my continued business they tell me that I can’t have her even just to stand with. The coffee is great but none of the staff are on the same page and it’s super unprofessional. I will not be visiting any more.

Amazing espresso and bright, clean, minimalist atmosphere hidden right outside of Oakland. Great place to meet with friends or study, but seating is limited.

This is a very nice (though small) coffee shop. The baristas seem to know their stuff and make good pour overs. The pastry selection is also quite nice.

Incredible espresso beverages with their unique under-the-counter system. True craftsmanship is put into every drink! I will be returning as soon as possible!
