Rival Bros Coffee Bar

I am from Erie. I was told That
Rival Brothers has the best coffee in the city. I walked two miles in 19° temps to get an Americano.

The gentlemen serving the coffee were very welcoming and helpful.

The coffee was fantastic and well worth the walk! I will gladly return when I visit the area again.

Very solid coffee. Quick line. The frozen iced latte during summer is borderline life changing.

The comment about its appeal as a waiting room is on point. Lolz. Coffee is fine and the chocolate croissant was amazing! Baristas were super busy but there wasn't even a wait. So, that seemed odd. I'll probably go again if I'm in the area but not something I'll go out of the way for...

Great coffee with a really nice atmosphere to work in. I think if you order your coffee to stay there is a discounted refill (bonus!). Little pricey, but then again every coffee shop in the city is. Would definitely recommend.

I like Rival Bros but making a guest to wait 30 minutes for a cup of coffee is a bit ridiculous... I ordered online in advance and then checked in at the counter 10 minutes later. At least 5 other guests who didn’t order online received their orders before me. That’s totally fine but to know I’m waiting and to still serve so many others seems unnecessary and rude. I’ll continue to go to Rival Bros but maybe work on serving guests in the order in which they were received, and please be conscious of those you know are waiting.

Awesome locally roasted coffee/espresso with baristas who know how to prepare great drinks. Warm and welcoming ambiance, but less pretentious than La Colombe. Nice pastries and locally sourced breads and other baked goods.

I really love the canned nitro cold brew. The atmosphere is nice and spacious. The bathroom is pretty cool. I won't spoil it for you, you should see for yourself. :)

Nice place, I didn't think the staff was too friendly. they were too busy working and not customer service oriented. Coffee was bitter. I don't care for bitter coffee, taste like Starbucks which, I'm not a fan of.

Sure,the light wood-type desks and tables,are rather pleasant decor. And most patrons,are continually on their electronic-devices. Needless,to say,they assure free Wi-Fi; and generously supply outlets-for recharges. But,$4.00 for what's simply a strong iced-coffee,I'm getting tired of it. Every one of these" fancy labelled",coffees,lately appear to taste exactlythe same.

Good coffee, good atmosphere, pretty standard coffee shop 🤷‍♂️
