Great coffee and such lovely staff! My go to every day for my afternoon pick me up!

I got the derringer, which is their take on a cortado. It was extremely well made, the staff was super friendly, and I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a good coffee drink.

They have a surprisingly good iced chai latte. I usually get it warm cause it’s a safer bet it’ll be tasty, but I loved their ice chai. It had enough flavor and the ice balanced it out. Also they have delicious pastries that get sold out pretty quickly.

Cozy, very good coffee. It's not the best ever, but probably the best in this neighborhood

Consistently one of my favorite coffee bars to visit when in Philly !

I’ve been coming to the tasker st location for a while. Before they recently hired a new group of people the experience was always okay. Unfortunately 2 new ladies that work there don’t seem to take their job seriously. It took them 5 minutes to make me 2 cappuccinos, when no one else was waiting for a drink: the ladies were talking to customers with no masks, crowding the drink counter area. The baristas were on their phones instead of just making the 2 drinks. Then instead of steaming the milk at the same time to make both, they make them separately making the process take longer for no reason. A customer simply wants to pay for their coffee, and receive it. Not watch the baristas talk and use their phones and take longer than needed to make drinks. Hopefully this location doesn’t go downhill bc of lack of service.

This is Rival's third shop, and it has quickly become one of my favorite coffee places in the city.

The seating area is set off nicely from the main counter part of the shop, and there's a pretty good number of seats. It's been crowded since it just opened, but getting a table hasn't proven to be tough just yet. Good music choices, as well.

I've only tried the espresso and a few pastries, but everything I've had has been delicious. People who love good coffee should feel right at home, but people who don't need to dig deep into coffee mythology won't have a problem here either.

There's other food to be had, as well, though I can't vouch for how good it is. Overall definitely worth a stop, whether you're just passing by on the way to work or want to get a good drink and settle in to get work done.

Love there ice coffee not available for winter months though bummer

The drip coffee was excellent. The roast was a solid medium and is a refreshing alternative to the over-roasted Starbucks coffee. The store is very nice with plenty of seating and free WiFi. The staff is very well informed and happy to explain their products.

Great coffee and a nice selection of pastries. The seating area in the back is spacious and quiet during the week too.
