Excellent third wave coffee bar with cozy atmosphere. Exposed brick and old wood. A few basic food items too. Simple, straight forward.

Good service.
The cinnamon roll was great.
They have WiFi and outlets to charge your phone in the meantime

Order: Iced Latte, Cappuccino
Price: $8
Pros: Espresso was incredibly high quality, the staff was very friendly with offering suggestions and advice on the coffee, the seating was very well done given the peculiar dimensions of the space, centrally located to many of the historical sites.
Cons: Parking was very difficult but given the area I think that's just a given for all places here.

Thoughts: Continuing in our coffee adventures in Philly we walked into Menagerie coffee around mid day after trekking through a decent chunk of downtown. As soon as we walked in the aroma of espresso washed over you like a glorious preview of things to come. We browsed around for coffee beans for a bit and after talking to the employees on staff we settled on the espresso drinks as opposed to standard pour over coffee.

The inside of the shop was very well designed given the limited space that they had. It was much longer than it was "wide" and they used that space very efficiently to create as much seating as they could while still keeping it from feeling overly cramped. I'm not normally one to comment too much on just they layout of a place but I was very impressed with what they were given.

The espresso was killer! Both the cappuccino and the iced latte were strong, full of flavor, had great body, and what was more impressive is that both the hot and cold were on point. Often a coffee house gets one or the other right but not both and they pulled them both off.

I’d definitely come back here if I was ever in the area, but I can also understand how it would be frustrating to try and park in order to come here. It’s so close to the historical sites that parking was almost nonexistent. If you happen to be anywhere near the area thought you owe it to yourself to grab a cappuccino or latte here.

A delicious and cozy coffee shop. Went here for a quick coffee, with delicious lattes and coffee, but the best surprise was their yogurt and granola, would definitely recommend. The breakfast sandwich was okay, lacking in flavor. The service and ambience is wonderful. Would come back to relax, study, meet up with friends, or for a coffee date.

This place is my favorite. They serve the most delicious creamy latte that I have ever tasted. They have a mini bookshelf so that anyone can enjoy reading books while drinking their coffee. A place of relaxation and delight.

Cute place and comfortable atmosphere. The baristas are really nice and helpful if it's your first time. Most importantly the coffee is delicious. I really think it's the perfect cup. I got a cappuccino and the taste is so smooth, no aftertaste just pure delicious espresso and steamed milk. You can also add your own vanilla syrup or simple syrup that is on the bar. Definitely recommend!

I am appalled by the service here. In the past I've been given generally bad attitude. Today they charged me an extra 75¢ because i asked for a little more skim milk in my coffee. The exact quote was "this is not a covid rule, milk actually costs more than coffee for us"..... Pretty sure the cost for an extra couple oz of milk is built into the price of drip coffee. It's a shame because this is a neighborhood joint for me but I will but be returning.

Menagerie is a decent coffee shop, they sell pastries (Great Cookies), coffee and tea. This might sound weird but the door isn't very big (I'm not a huge guy, and I have a little trouble getting through the door) the size of the door mixed with the size of the front area always makes me think it's a super small place, but there is seating in the back.

Their coffee is good and they make a great Black Iced Tea. I just wish they made the Black Iced tea all year round, they only make it in the summer.

Great selection of beans for pour over coffees, it was a bit pricey at 4$ for a single pour over but very good coffee and friendly staff. The atmosphere was relaxing with many young professionals and students working on laptops and soft jazz playing throughout the store.

Had some pour over coffee which was very smooth and had an interesting flavor, not good or bad but it could have been the type of coffee I got. I got a roast beef sandwich on sourdough and that was amazing.

Finished off my relaxing morning with a cappuccino and I gotta say this place has a great atmosphere and vibe to it.
