A great coffee shop in Philly. Deliciously smooth espresso and plenty of seating.

Great spot to get work done. Calm and friendly vibe. Good food and good coffee. Every time I am in here I look up the songs that are playing because the tracks are great. WiFi signal is not super strong so if a lot of people are there so if you need to do internet heavy work keep that in mind.

Our favorite spot for coffee, chai latte and now quick bites (breakfast sandwich and tuna melt are gooooddddd). And I love sit next to window and people watching:)
The music is calm too. So overall I like everything about this little place!

All around great experience. Best mocha I’ve had in a long time. Hand poured coffee was too acidic for my liking. Nice selection of sandwiches and sweets. Adorable and attentive staff!

Being a digital nomad and while spending 3 weeks in Philly, I had to try this place after reading the great reviews here. This place also came as a strong recommendation to do some work while grabbing food and good hot beverages and it did not disappoint. The place is well lit, it has ample areas specially at the back, great wifi, chill music at low volume, plugs everyone and excellent service.
Ordered: Breakfast sandwich which was delicious, the laste of syrup was a fantastic touch. Arrived close to noon and I was lucky to grab the last almond croissant. Also ordered a Cortado which was nicely strong but the queen on the table was the almond croissant that melted in my mouth.

Stumbled here by pure chance and got your 'basic filter coffee' and it might have been the best filter coffee I have ever had. I highly recommend this place.

This place has a very low standard of service. Unbearable mistakes that the employees won’t take responsibility for, like serving a milk cappuccino for milk intolerant person instead of dairy free, then blaming it on you - and not even replacing it. Or serving a dry, not fresh croissant at early morning, after I asked if it’s fresh, and refusing to replace it to a fresh item when I find out it IS over dry.

It’s ok to make some mistakes. It’s not ok to have an arrogant approach, and to not take responsibility for your mistakes. Save your time, go to High St. on Market or any other place with better attitude.

Coffee was great!

Menagerie offers some well priced drinks, friendly staff, and great air conditioning. The decor is great. Plain and woodsy in feel, there is always enough seating to chat with friends or get some work done. They do offer wifi, however it doesn't always work. The bathroom is the bomb diggity because the interior designer did a pretty good job. Nice spot in Old City, great for a quick grab and go morning brew.

Cool ambiance, liked the music, decent amount of seating. I ordered an americano. The coffee is a bit weak, but smooth. Would be a nice place to work or chill out. Customer service was eh.
