When visiting a coffee shop (or any establishment), one of the biggest things that impacts my experience is customer service. In a world where good coffee has become synonymous with snobby culture, the opposite has taken place at New Story. Not only were the owners very well versed in their knowledge of coffee, but they also patiently and joyfully took time to help my wife and I select a drink that fit our preferred taste. They weren’t in a hurry and didn’t look past us to the next customer. It was an experience that felt like home because we were treated like family. Definitely will be returning!

I really appreciated coming in to be greater with a warm and welcoming hello! On top of coming into that I would say that this is the best coffee shop locally that I know of! Great people with a calming jazzy bluesy low volume music playing!

I have tried both places in Mt. Pleasant, being fair. I love my coffee but I found Gypsy Lane Cafe to be more inviting, structured business, is family oriented, awesome ice coffee and way cheaper. But I will say New Story's owner was very nice.

Extremely over priced for someone who just wants regular plain coffee. I personally don't need steammed milk and nutmeg etc. I have no idea how the prices here compared to a big name place like Starbucks but $7 for a 16 oz coffee seems outrageous to me... I just wanted to check it out since it was new to the area and I work close by but I will just stick to the gas station coffee next time.

Wonderful to have such a fantastic coffee shop in Mt Pleasant. Great coffees and great fun. Keith and Rachel create their home made syrups for beverages which makes all the difference. Highly recommended.
