Uptown Coffee

Probably the best cookie we have ever had!! Great coffee too! Salted caramel chocolate chip!!

I go out of my way to get coffee here. The coffee itself is average but the flavored ones like one would get at a Starbucks is so much better and an extensive menu is offered. They also serve home baked cookies, which look amazeballs, pies, brownies, etc. I haven't gotten the baked goods as yet because my coffee buddy has a gluten allergy and they do not offer GF baked goods unfortunately. They offer 3 small tables with 2 chairs each in front of their store. We always walk down the hill and sit at a table next to a restaurant that is closed that time of day. On Saturday, across the street, is a little farmers market which was fun. As far as I know, there is only parallel parking available. The employees are friendly, patient and professional.

Often come here to do school work. A great atmosphere with kind staff and great food and prices. Free wifi, multiple seating arrangements, bathrooms. The back of the place is not wheelchair accessible and a tight squeeze to walk through. I have never had anything to eat or drink here that wasnt good. Would definitely recommend for a quick bite or a small get together!

Uptown Coffee has pulled off the ultimate, most subtle flex in history. They’re quietly the best bakery in the South Hills yet present themselves as just a coffee shop.

Never had the coffee, but have eaten a wide variety of their baked goods and I have never had one that wasn’t incredible.

Wonderful coffee, great pastries. The staff is knowledgeable and always willing to make accommodations. When my husband was having chemotherapy, his immune system was compromised and couldn't have food that was left out (like fresh baked cinnamon rolls). The one person working behind the counter saw his mask and they had some fresh rolls coming out of the oven. He would be the first person to have one without having to worry about exposure. This is the kind of service that separates Uptown from other coffee shops.

I don’t visit Mount Lebanon that often, but a friend recommend this place. She has been going here for years so obviously I had to see what the hype was about. It isn’t too big of a place, but that’s not an issue. The ambiance was relaxing with free wifi and many spots to work at. I got a caramel hot chocolate which was insanely sweet but delicious nonetheless. If you’re looking for a place to study or get some work by, you won’t regret it.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Pittsburgh. Staff is always so warm and kind. Fresh, made on site double chocolate biscotti with a cup of the house brew is one of my go to orders, but it's hard not to want to try one of the baked items on the counter!

Cute little coffee shop in Mt. Lebo. It's clean, the staff are kind (a little quiet and timid - but still highly accommodating). I've gone a couple times with my kids and gotten them the milk steamers or French soda and a cookie. The cookies are a bit pricey, but they're massive and delicious. The Italian wedding cookie is particularly divine!

Saturday seems to be a quieter lounge day than Sunday. I think this coffee shop might be a study lounge hot spot for high school students. There were at least a dozen teenagers hanging out in the shop on Sunday afternoon.

This cafe is wonderful with friendly staff and scrumptious desserts. I'm a huge fan of their snickerdoodle cookies, and all of their desserts I have tried were fresh and delicious!! It is a pretty decently sized space, too! Great place to get work done/study/relax/or catch up with a friend!

Great baked goods including cookies, cheesecakes, breads, pies, and chocolate cake! The coffee is good and will satisfy most. Not a place for a pour-over but the espresso drinks are great. Staff is always friendly and very nice atmosphere.
