Great place to stop and eat in Mt. Jewett. The best place we have found. The BEST biscuits and gravy I had tasted in years!!!!! Service is outstanding!!!!! If you're going up to see Kinzua Bridge stop here and grab a bite to eat. You won't regret it!!!!!!! I assure you!!

Eat here! Breakfast was fresh and delicious! The hash browns are the real deal and nice and crispy. Nice little community with a good place to eat.

The wife and I have been here for breakfast about 25-30 times over the past 5+ years, we would drive from Bradford PA and Limestone NY to Mt Jewett to go here, so it is definetely worth it. It has a Sweedish heritage and they offer some sweedish items here, me being Norwegian those items aren't what we go for (although I am sure they are great), we come for 3 good things, which only a small subset of diners do well:
1, Traditional american diner coffee with enough strength to taste good (to me this means medium roast, but with more grounds than typical). 2. Staff. The head lady is awesome, and most of the wait staff as well. 3. Breakfast potatoes, in his case has browns. Nowhere else have we had home made hashbrows like these. If you go here for breakfast, i recommend hash brown, home made toast, over easy and your meat of choice.. why only 4 stars? well, a couple of times i have gotten a food item that was not optimal, and sometimes the place is closed on a day we did not expect it to me (good for them getting some time off though).

Cozy, busy lil place on a Saturday. The Viking breakfast I ordered was good. The coffee was warm. Service was very friendly.

In case nobody reads past the beginning I want to emphasize that the HASH BROWNS at this establishment are The single greatest potato product I have ever had in ANY form. I stopped here just by chance while I was on my way back home on a motorcycle trip. It was Labor Day morning in what to me feels like total backcountry so I felt the odds of finding a good breakfast spot within 30 miles were stacked against me. Never in my life would I have expected to experience the life-changing meal that I enjoyed at this place. The waffle my meal began with came out hanging over the edges of a dinner plate. My initial thought was the old adage about quantity VS quality, but my first bite confirmed to me that by some miracle neither was compromised in the crafting of this heavenly discus of perfectly molded batter. The crispy exterior was surely caressed in the most delicate way possible by Apollo himself! Inside rested what could only be explained as the containment of the softest tufts of a cool Spring Cumulonimbus! Then came the main portion. Eggs so savory they must have come from hens handfed and lovingly coddled by the fairest farm maiden. Bread so rich like manna from the heavens! And of course, bacon. Cured to perfection. Cut from the belly of the noblest swine in the King's own prized stock! Potatoes are often referred to as "The Apple of the Earth" but the hash browns at Kaffe Sol will forever be The Apple of my eye. My life is changed for the better because I happened to find myself in a quiet Pennsylvania town one morning, and took a chance on some place new. This hidden gem will always have a place in my heart. The 2.5 hour drive back to Mt Jewett is definitely in my future

I found this place while planning a trip to Kinzua Bridge. We stopped for early lunch. The service was great, the food was really great, and the folks behind and in front of the counter were all friendly.

Stopped for lunch and got a very good meal of chicken and biscuits with mashed potatoes for a small price. Small place with large returns. Great staff!! We hope to return.
