We enjoyed our drinks, toast and pastry but it was a bummer there was no seating. We really would have liked to sit down and relax in the beautiful space but instead had to schlep everything home before we could enjoy.

5 stars because of the quality of ingredients and the variety to suit different dietary preferences they have is really good. Checked all my boxes and I eat mostly organic. There were also gluten free and vegan options for food. I love that they support local and do fair trade. A big one for me is that they have Swiss water decaf! It’s really cool that they do kombucha too!
However, its a huge bummer they still don’t allow seating indoors. Hoping they feel more comfortable to do that soon.
You may need to be patient to receive your drink order when it’s busy, but it’s worth the wait.
For the best experience, I suggest you go there with a friend and sit outside on a nice day.

So yum, and friendly helpful staff. Lavendar matte latte with oat milk — wow!

The Excalibur roast was excellent, and the atmosphere in the shop is so cute. I loved the book exchange setup, and I’ll definitely bring some books with me next time!

Coffee is so good here! My cousin who lives in Media buys coffee beans from here so got to enjoy it at home too

Love having this coffee spot in Media, definitely fills a need. Vegan options are good, especially the awesome Batter and Crumbs baked goods they carry. I wish they had oatmilk for espresso-based drinks -- soy is tough to digest and almond just doesn't foam at all (I love that it's house made but it's not great in a cortado). WiFi access is generous. I try to visit once a week or so when I'm in town.

I didn’t have any food or drink because we were disappointed that there was NO SEATING even though Google says “Dine In”. We went with our children so we had to find a new place when we realized there was no where to sit. Maybe we’ll try again if they bring back indoor seating.

I wish you were closer to my job, I would go a few times a day! Now, I’m only able to visit and get their delicious coffee once/day

Hands down the best coffee shop in Media. They do their own roasting on site and they provide excellent service. I would recommend going with the house blend which is very good. There is a decent amount of seating on the inside with a large communal table as well. There is also some parking in front of the store.

Quality ingredients and products and fair prices. Burlap and Bean is quality. Their staff, their food, and their coffee are all part of the experience when coming here. We got the hibiscus tea latte and a dirty chai latte and both were delicious. The hibiscus tea latte was light but flavorful- perfect for a hot day and the dirty chai was rich and had deep flavors, great for an afternoon pick-up.
