Super cute coffee shop with very knowledgeable baristas. The owner greeted me with a warm smile and good conversation. The iced white chocolate mocha was made on a high end espresso machine. The shots of espresso were beautiful coming from the machine. Seats are spread out around the shop to give some privacy for conversation. I saw seats out side the primary exit that looked available in warm weather. A second exit leads down to the train track side of the facility. Very clean and fresh inside the store.
I make a point of stopping here for coffee whenever I am in the area. The espresso is consistently excellent. The barista this morning wouldn't agree to adding any flavored syrup to my cappuccino, and she was exactly right. Like every other drink I've had at Boro, it was perfect as is. Appreciate a friendly shop that takes its coffee seriously!
Excellent service!! Great atmosphere and delicious coffee. They also sell Rachel's Bites' cookies which are to die for! (And the dog treats are my dog's favorite of all time). Definitely check it out. They've won a new regular customer for sure!
My drink was a delicious hot mocha. Exactly as I like it, and it was the first time I was there! The Cafe itself is simple and charming. My drink was to go, but I definitely will be back to try indoor dining.
I was very impressed with my first visit to this place today - reminded me of Lancaster City coffee shops, which I've missed dearly since moving to Hollidaysburg. Will be my new go-to! I got blueberry scones, which were delicious! (And I kinda hate scones to be honest but they looked good, so I thought I'd try!) Highly customizable drink menu, 3 entances, outdoor dog-friendly seating in the back. There was only one girl behind the counter (saw her name was Kenzie after stalking Boro's Facebook page) and she was a little busy but didn't show any frustration or stress - just smiles, kind words and a great attitude. I'll be back for sure.
Great little place to chill. Friendly staff with historic feel. Nice view of the trains in Hollidaysburg as you drink your coffee. Coffee is good, and they serve other drinks and treats also. It's a hidden gem on South Juniata. Give it a try.
Not only is the coffee delicious, the staff is so helpful and friendly! I love their tiramisu latte! Highly recommend Boro Coffee. Also, if you're looking for a place with a fun vibe, the exposed brick walls and view of the railroad tracks can't be beat!
The first time I went to this coffee shop, I was pleased. Good Coffee, nice atmosphere, and helpful employee. However, the next time I went the person taking my order didn't know what a red-eye was and still appeared confused after I explained it to her. Generally, this is no big deal, but after tasting how absolutely terrible my coffee was, it was evident that the confusion carried over into preparing my coffee. After chocking down half of my cup, I threw it away and have decided not to return.
I really enjoyed my coffee. The prices seemed lower than comparable locations, service was great and speedy. I was able to order online and pickup in store with zero hassle. I will likely be back for more.
