I want to like this place. The breakfast is decent. But OMG 30 minutes for a breakfast sandwich when there’s only two orders in front of me is ridiculous. I’ve tried this place twice and both times the wait has been obnoxious. Do not visit if you’re in a hurry. The cook handles one order at a time.

The food and the coffee is great and the spot is a really nice cozy place to post up for a little while.

I can not recommend this place. The food is average at best and the wait times are unrealistic. You managed to do what every other coffee shop can’t, take 30 minutes for an egg sandwich and a iced tea. We understand it’s not a fast food place as your sign states but it’s not even slow food place. My prime rib dinner last night took less time to arrive. Our bagel was black on the outside. Had to eat the insides because we didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes for that order. The employee at the register has zero people skills and had no idea what they had to sell. Multiple people were complaining about their orders at the tables next to us.

Overpriced and underwhelmed. The Battlefield Buffalo sandwich had incredibly tough chicken. It tasted odd. The smoothie was terrible. It tasted great for the first 3 sips but then it tasted rotten at the end. We ordered a latte and a cold brew and we completely finished our meal before we even got our drinks. Went down to check on them after we asked them where they were once already and they told us the ticket was lost. Come to find out they put it under someone else’s name. The cold brew was 75% ice. On top of all of this, we were one of three customers, and there were at least 3 people behind the counter. The man taking our orders looked like he wanted to be anywhere else and was not helpful at all. Terrible customer service. I’m young and in my 20s and I’ve worked jobs like this and I am all for giving grace and being patient but this was an incredibly frustrating experience and we will not be returning.

Really yummy organic drip coffee, seemingly roasted locally (I didnt check the deets) -- it was hot and fresh when it came out the carafe 🦒🌡️ and didnt taste burnt or stale like most carafes will lend to coffee

Yummy baked goods crafted in-house -- I tried their banana bread, a house-made everything bagel 👌and a cranberry oatmeal cookie that was ¢27! the sandwiches looked good too altho I didnt eat one

Gorgeous secluded back patio and garden with beautiful vines growing up the walls

Fantastic library and seating area upstairs including plush couches and armchairs

Staff was kind and helpful, especially to this wayward traveler who stashed his bags there while exploring the town 🥰♥️☕

A true hidden Gem. Located on the main road in an old home and blending into it's surroundings. It's a little hard to spot and the sign is hidden by an overgrown tree, so you need to be looking for it. It's not fast food, but great food fast with bagels and sandwiches made to order. There is a small front porch seating area to watch the traffic while you enjoy your food or you can sit inside in the front living room of the old home which is filled with old world charm. There is a quiet charming space upstairs with sofa and chairs. Out the back door is a garden oasis where you can enjoy your food in the flower garden complete with a pergola, small birds and butterflies. After a while, you might forget your even in the city. Oh, and let's not forget about the food. All homemade and delicious. I had a simple whole wheat bagel with egg, ham, tomato and provolone. Simple, yet deliciously fresh. And the people were a delight. Greeting us with smiles and happy to help answer any questions. If you're just looking for a place to have coffee and a sandwich as well as a quiet intimate breakfast with a friend, you'll love this place.

Food was very tasty and upstairs seating area was cozy but the wait for food was egregious -- 45 minutes for two bagel sandwiches. We weren't the only ones affected, the whole establishment was slammed. Even lattes took 15+ minutes and the self-serve coffee bar was empty and we had to wait. Would try going back to see if we were just there at a very busy time

Very nice experience. Pleasant servers. The coffee and breakfast sandwiches were wonderfully enjoyable. My wife and I are sure to go there again.

LOVED! Went here twice during our stay in Gettysburg. I had a white mocha/carmel latte both times and it was great, fast, and made to order just as I like it. Yummy! Support local coffee!

Cold brew coffee was light brown water. Breakfast sandwiches were flavorless. Had high expectations and ended up throwing our food and drinks out. Just not a good coffee place.
