Customer service is awful every time and the coffee is not good. No flavor and hot coffee is always cold.

I love visiting the Ragged Edge. I love the atmosphere of the place ever since it had started out. The drinks are wonderful, but the staff taking orders aren't very pleasant. I was waiting on the girl to take my order and she ended up taking the woman behind me first. Then she didn't even greet me. She looked miserable and then she didn't even say "have a nice day" after I said thank you for my order. Not very good customer service. Otherwise, I love this place

The Ragged Edge Coffee House is a true gem! They have a great selection of quality hot and cold caffeine drinks. Their baked goods are deeeelicious, so much so that upon a return trip to the area I special ordered a loaf of their banana bread to take home. They even offer smoothies for those looking for a healthy option. The staff are super cool and nice. The house they converted into a coffee shop offers many seating options for enjoying your drink and/or food -- from the front porch where you can people watch, to the magical-looking garden area in the backyard. The interior is super spacious with seating on the main level and upstairs. Definitely worth the stop for a treat while you are in town.

Went there this morning for the first time, didn’t stay to order anything! First I wasn’t even greeted with a hello, instead I got “when you’re ready to order let me know what you want.” Then I asked if it was a full menu or only breakfast and the male employee waiting on us ignored me, until the female employee who was working behind him told him to answer me. It wasn’t like he didn’t hear me, once she said something to him he answered me! While we were going over their menu two gentlemen came in, who we let ahead of us, since we were unsure, and the male employee was far more friendly to them. This employee would hardly make eye contact with us, as if our appearance alone offended him! He lacked people skills and manners! Not someone you want greeting customers, considering they come in all shapes, colors, and sizes. Very unprofessional!

I had a really good breakfast sandwich (egg, sausage, Swiss, on an English Muffins) that really hit the spot. The coffee was good too. A little pricy for what I ordered, but you get quality food. I'd rather pay local than pay Starbucks.

The food and drinks are mediocre and overpriced. We waited 40 minutes for the food to even come out, when it did it seemed like the eggs on our sandwiches were microwaved. Will not be returning unfortunately.

Would you like some coffee with your ambiance? This place is full of character, with many nooks and crannies to hide away and be alone and others to find space for an intimate conversation. The coffee is fairly typical and the food choices and quality are similar. But what they lack in product quality is more than made up for in the overall experience. So next time you need a special space for that special convo.. you know where to go.

Always a good experience at the Ragged Edge! This is a quality operation, even better because it's a locally owned and operated business. I'm a local and have been here plenty of times but the past two trips were the reason for the review. While you can always get a good cup of coffee here, the Snickerdoodle Latte was a perfect start to a day! Not too sweet with the right amount of cinnamon. The other special drink was a smoothie that I unfortunately don't remember the name of... but it had blueberries, Earl Grey tea, maybe some lavender, and other magic that could not possibly be described. Yes.

Stop in for a great experience, and if the weather is nice be sure to take advantage of the back patio!

Great little local coffee shop. Funky local artwork available for purchase, nice selection of varietal coffees and designer teas. Pastries and other baked goods, light bites and sandwiches. They were rocking out to the Grateful Dead both times that I visited, and that is ALWAYS a plus in my book! Certainly better than any chain coffee shop could ever hope to be

Fast service.
We ordered the baked oatmeal, with strawberries, banana and blueberries with steamed milk. Never had anything like it before. Pouring the steamed milk over the baked oatmeal was really nice. I would eat it again. Bagel was nicely toasted. Drinks were good.
