Bantam Coffee Roasters (formerly Eighty-Two Cafe)

This is our go-to coffee shop. We travel a lot and visit coffee shops all over the country (and beyond) and we are always thrilled that we have such a great shop with excellent barista's and excellent coffee so close to home. Not to mention they have baked goods from another excellent local business (Gateu Monique in Littlestown PA). Highly recommend this place!

We stopped here to grab a coffee on our walk to Cemetery Hill. My girlfriend got ab almond milk Latte and I got an Affogato (with the homemade vanilla ice cream). Both were delicious -- so much so that we bought a bag of the Honduran beans used in the espresso for our coffees. The young employee (who mentioned they had just started) was very nice, personable, and helpful.

I love the atmosphere of this place! I love the colors and the industrial lighting. The workers were very nice and made you feel welcome and comfortable. The white mocha cappuccino was very good! They were sold out of food items, which was okay with us, but it would be nice to have pastries or breakfast items available. Overall, great place and I’d be back!

Best coffee I've ever had. Staff was very friendly, they grind the coffee, and then brew it fresh for you. Took a bag for home. Will be back before end of my visit here. Walking distance within most places. Also you can order the coffee online that they use that roast the beans right before shipping out.

Good coffee! A few friendly suggestions: have signs so people know which way to go, put dates on the coffee of when roasted or born on, and a little more assertive management to politely guide customers. As we were waiting a group of people was congested in the middle of the shop and it was very confusing to other customers.

I had the Mocha Milkshake. It literally was AMAZING! I didn’t want it to end. The chocolate ice cream was so smooth and creamy, and you could still taste the amazing coffee flavor. So, so great!
The staff were so friendly! Such a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

The 82 Café is a great little shop. It's actually not too small. There are bathrooms and there is a seating area. The barista was great. I highly recommend going on a ghost tour, and then coming in for a hot chocolate, a hot apple cider (can be made with cinnamonor caramel), or a howling hazel (dark chocolate and hazelnut made as a hot chocolate, or a latte).

Nice, quiet coffee shop with excellent coffee and good selection of pastries. Very friendly staff and good, quick service. Very nice atmosphere to sit and relax.

We have been there several times and each time the coffee is always amazing! Each time we go to Gettysburg we make a point to stop by the shop. The place is very clean, super cute, and the staff is always kind and helpful. Highly recommend this place!

the Honduran beans for my espresso soda were roasted hours before I walked in. every coffee drink is made w fresh ground beans, when ordered. my blueberry muffin was perfect, not too massive, but a full (even shareable!) serving, and not too sweet, but fresh and delicious. service was fast, courteous, friendly, and helpful. next time I'll bring my own mug, for the discount.
