Not sure which one is my favorite, bacon, egg and cheese so good, but the Green Goddess, is so good, then I tried the California Chicken Club added mozzarella (they use fresh mozzarella!), absolutely delicious, I think my new favorite, it was whole other level of delicious. I love we have Old City in our little down of Danville, the bagels are good, and the bagel sandwiches are top notch they use quality meats and produce! Definitely recommend you visit and support this amazing small business; you will not be disappointed, and the staff is very friendly!

So dirty, I don't think this place has ever seen a mop and it kinda smells like sweaty feet. A plain bagel took an absurd amount of time and was stale. Also paid for cream cheese and received no cream cheese?!?Owner was rude and unhelpful and also smelled like feet. Don't waste your time and money in this joint.

Nice little place to grab a quick bite and a morning coffee. Good selection of different bagel sandwiches. Had a BLT on multi grain and enjoyed it!

A cute little bagel/coffee spot. Bagel sandwiches could be a little better, for the price it should have a little more meat on it. Staff is very friendly. Coffee was average, good.

It was fine... The bagel was kinda bland. It was blueberry but tasted plain. The employee was nice!

Great bagels! With plenty of cream cheese :D I also appreciated the little lending library they had, as well as artwork featured by local artists.

The sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel was delicious. They have about 10 tables indoors and a few on the sidewalk so there is ample seating. The staff was very active and the food and drinks were prepared quickly so there was very little waiting.
Highly recommend.

Used to be one of the best places in town to get food, but now barley open. Horrible at communicating it. Usually Google is the only way to find out if it's open or not. Sad to see it, but don't know how much longer they can last.

I'm only visiting Danville for a short time, but Old City Bagel Company is thus far one of my favorite spots. I purchased both a pastry and latte and was delighted by both. The atmosphere was friendly and cozy and the barista was welcoming and kind. Located just off the main street of Danville, Old City would be a lovely stop before walking the streets and admiring the historic homes. (Note that the background in my photo is from the Pine Barn Inn.)

First visit about 10:20am on a Wednesday.
3 stars -Bagels - toasted bagel just warm. Not toasted
5 stars - lavender honey latte + dark roast
1 star - service. No one else there when we arrived. Woman at counter was busy filling pick up orders. Without looking up she said "I'll be right with you." Four minutes later she got around to taking our orders.no apology for our wait. People arrived to pick up orders. We sat and waited. Had to go to the counter 3 times to pick up 2 coffees and 2 bagels.
1 star - bathroom. Handicapped stall out of order. One other stall really squinchy. Plan on your clothes and legs rubbing against the toilet. Bad smell in men's room.
3 stars - ambiance
