I've lived in Brooklyn, I've had authentic bagels in Pikesville, MD, but Johnny's makes the best bagels I've ever had. Not too fluffy, not too chewy.

Every trip I take to Bethlehem, I stop by the Main St and Campus Square locations.

Stopped in during Celtic Classic, got a cinnamon raisin w/ cream cheese (was tempted to order Taylor Ham, but didn't). Being from north NJ, I'm picky about good bagels. Johnny's has decent bagels. Quick, friendly service.

Edit 03/14/2021: The takeout order today had burned bagels and the cream cheese was drippy with the consistency of cold mayo. What happened? Did you change vendors?

(Four years ago, five star review from me) A hopping place! Bagels baked on premises. There is a wait sometimes, though it's worth it for the quality. A locally-owned business with another location in Bethlehem and a new store in Allentown on Center Square.

I'm sure this place is great to some but my first impression was not as great as I hoped it would be. I waited over 30 minutes for a simple order and didn't receive it until I asked where it was... While watching everyone who ordered receive their food right away. Some positives are that the atmosphere and coffee are great. Truly disappointed but may give it a second chance one day.

I love all 3 Johnny's Bagels locations. The brothers are all very friendly. Each place takes turns making the bagels. They all have a huge variety of delicious homemade cream cheeses to pick from. They do breakfast sandwiches and lunch too. Older bagel batches are sold at discount by the dozen! Been enjoying them for years.

Ordered the falafel wrap and thought it was fine. The wrap included the falafel patty, lettuce and tomato with feta cheese and black olives. No yogurt sauce was included and sandwich was fresh and quite good.

Comfy, good food, great atmosphere, on main street. You want a perfect morning date or wanna enjoy the rain. I mean heck, come here just for the food. You won't be disappointed. Workers talk like close family, you feel it here. And bagels, oof. Buying just one bag is not enough.

The bacon me crazy didn't have much bacon. The quality of the food can be better.
