Experienced what seemed to be peak lunch rush. Had to wait for a table to be free, but worked itself out in less than 5 minutes.

This place is amazing! My latte was amazing & the brown butter sage pasta & shrimp was the best. I can’t wait to go back!

Bonfatto’s does an Italian hoagie really well but I don’t know that I’d recommend anything else. The hoagie though... YUM. Service can be insanely slow, would recommend ordering ahead for pick up. Went in once and waited 25 minutes for a hoagie to go. I’ve had other sandwiches and treats there but none are very good. The atmosphere is adorable and they have a lovely little selection of goods to peruse.

Bonfattos is always my go-to place whenever I’m in Bellefonte. My favorites are the brussel sprout Caesar salad, burrata flatbread, and their Café fredos. Everything is always fresh and delicious.

Besides having excellent subs, breakfast sandwiches, and drinks, as well as scones from The Cakery, their online ordering and curbside pickup systems are perfect and help us to safely pick up food during a pandemic. Their staff are friendly and always wearing masks and gloves when they bring out the food to our vehicle. They are definitely a business worth supporting.

A breath of fresh air for downtown Bellefonte. The owners have taken a bit of the surrounding metropolitan areas (Philly, Pitt, NYC, DC) and brought it to our little town. From the ice cream, the Italian market feel, the coffee bar, the food it is a step up. The prices are reasonable and the staff are very friendly. I have eaten most things on the menu and can’t find a complaint. Even the To Go boxes are nice. This is the type of place we need to keep around.

I moved to the State College area about a year ago and compared to my hometown, it’s tough to find good, quality food around here. When I tried Bonfattos for the first time a few weeks ago, I was blown away! True Italian charm in little Bellefonte! The food and coffee are absolutely delicious. Imported Italian goods on the shelf add to the wonderful European vibe. The Italian subs though...they are the real deal. I couldn’t believe how hard it was to find a classic, well made sub. Well not anymore...this is the place!!!!! I have nothing but good things to say about Bonfattos, from the food to the staff and service. Thank you!!

Was not happy with my sub. Asked to change the type of cheese from provolone to American, they did not. Asked to have the sub cut in 3 prices it was not cut at all. All they cut was the cheese I did not want.
