Bonfatto's Italian Market & Corner Café

High-quality, delicious food and friendly staff! What more could you want? Bonfatto’s is my go-to if I need to grab something quickly to get me through the day. Their Bonanza subs are delicious and are made almost in the blink of an eye. Bonfatto’s smoothies are also wonderful and priced incredibly well. Don’t even get me started on the Bomboloni—treat yourself to one (or two) you won’t regret it!!

This is such a gem in one of the most beautiful places in Bellefonte. Right across the street from Talleyrand Park, the patio has a gorgeous view of the train station, the park and downtown Bellefonte. The cafe itself is charming, clean and well-lit, featuring artwork for sale from local artists. The menu boasts diverse options, including several vegan/vegetarian options for both food and beverage. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. This has become a staple for our local morning outings. I would highly recommend adding Bonfatto's to your agenda, if not only to restock your pantry with some of the great Italian staples on display.

I had a lunch date here. It was wonderful ambience, food and staff. The oxtail soup and chicken pesto panini were perfect.

Simply the best sub in Happy Valley. The Bonanza 16 inch italian is a dream! Really nice staff and good menu choices. Well done, love seeing these small family owned spots that are standout options.

Bonfatto's has become our Wednesday lunch date spot and, honestly, a week without the Brussel Caesar Salad is a bad one. My husband and I wanted to incorporate all of our favorite places into our wedding weekend, so we asked Michelle from Bonfatto's to cater our post-wedding brunch. Everything was absolutely delicious! Stopped for a Cafe Fredo this morning. Iced coffee but 10x better than those chains. Smooth, tasty, and good caffeine buzz. Added a bomboloni filled with a touch of sweet cannoli cream. Super moist and fresh. The cafe is super cute inside and the staff is really friendly. Also has a small outdoor seating area with umbrella covering for relaxing in the summer months. :)

The place is very good. Good food, great service, good location. Absolutely no complaints.

We've loved Bonfattos since we first moved to the area in Summer of 2020 and it is by far one of our favorites. Everything is fresh, I've never had a poorly made beverage and the staff is always friendly and attentive. This is one of our daughters favorite places to eat. She is a very picky eater but if we tell her we're going to Bonfatto's her eyes light up. She's always excited for a plain bomboloni and a kids pizza.

Love having Bonfatto's in Bellefonte! The food is great and the staff are even better!
