As a native Texan from Houston who now lives in Dallas, I can confirm that these kolaches are of authentic, Texan-level quality.
I used to work in Moon Township and would come here before work every year on Texas Independence Day to to pick up a catering platter of kolaches. It certainly warmed up those cold, March mornings!
Although Texan kolaches are originally a Czech creation, my Pittsburgh Polish co-workers said they are very similar to pasties made by their grandparents.
But even if culinary history isn't your thing, the platter of kolaches will definitely be a crowd-pleaser!

I will always happily drive half an hour to get these delicious kolaches in this adorable town. I’ve eaten in but love getting a dozen and having lunches taken care of for the week.

We’re recent transplants to PA and originally from Houston, TX where kolaches reign supreme over the breakfast scene (tied with breakfast tacos). It was fantastic to find a place in Western PA that has authentic tasting and unique kolache creations! This place is the real deal!

My uncle passed away 14 years ago. He grew up in Beaver and this was one of this favorite places. Now, 4 times a year my mom brother and I visit his grave, and as tradition stands, we always stop for coffee and tea and of course KOLACHES. I love the pepperoni ones, and the apple and chocolate ones always satisfy cravings. The staff makes you feel like family and will make any hard day so much better. Parking can be tight but trust me its worth a little walk through that cute town! This place is a staple of my vhildhood and young adulthood and I love introducing people to this place.

Great local hot spot. Excellent drinks, friendly informative staff that really knows their products and their customers. Stop in for the coffee stay for the kolache. Not really sure what they are. But they are delicious. Breakfast or lunch you won't be sorry you tried them.

I thought this would be a pansy sort of coffee shop, but it's not. Extremely friendly staff, excellent food, very affordable, great atmosphere that normally is busy but not packed. They have a meeting room too if you're interested. Food is great and there is a large selection, and some drinks too. More like a breakfast pastry shop that is open all day, really.

I loved Cafe Kolache! I ordered a few breakfast items to take back to NJ with me. I LOVED everyone of one them especially the jalipino ones! Service was exceptional!

Owner is so nice as well as the other employees we encountered. First time we have been here and I have never had a kolache before. Sooooo yummy!!! We look forward to coming in for breakfast every week!

I got my son his first kolache here. They do a great job on the food and their customer service was phenomenal!! I don’t usually leave reviews but this place definitely deserved a full 5 stars for everything. Atmosphere, food, and service and value all worth it. Next time I’m near Pittsburg I’ll be back.
