A very nice establishment. A beautiful hidden gem in Anville. Go to their web page. You would be surprised with what they offer. Wednesday night date is a nice opportunity to get out with a friend.

I’ve lived in Hershey for 12 years now and this was my first time at the theater. Both of my boys went in 5th grade for field trips and loved it. I took my friend for her birthday and my son who is now in college and on break this past Saturday to see The Fablemans and have lunch at the cafe. We got there a little late, but they had a couple of tables in the back and they were so hospitable to bring our food in to us so we wouldn’t miss the movie. Good food, specialty drinks, old time feel. You can’t beat the prices. So affordable and I am on a budget. I will definitely be coming here more often. We had a wonderful experience. Thank you!

You like retro places? Then, this is for you. Travel back to the 40's & 50's for the great service, food, and atmosphere. All of this combined with an eclectic genre diversity of movies.

As someone who drinks way too much coffee due to lack of sleep from attending LVC, I pop in here about once a week. There is quite a bit of seating, lots of neat pencil portraits and art pieces are on display as decorations, and they often showcase local art from schools or even local artists' works.

The atmosphere is very laid back and has been for over the year I've been a patron. I've still never had the food, but the coffee is always good and the staff is pretty nice. They added, then removed, and now readded iced coffee to the menu. They've also recently cut back the pump flavors for coffee to more sensible flavors (mango coffee = yuck!).

Oddly enough, I finally realized that they have shows here. I'm not sure why I never noticed the sound equipment, but I was here one night when some artists held an acoustic jam and spoken word night. It was a lot of fun.

The only complaints I have about the place any more is that occasionally they will host a live show and you'll get chased out if you don't buy tickets for the show. It has only happened to me once, but it was very jarring and aggravating as I had purchased a bottomless cup and only got two cups out of it. I know it is my fault, but I didn't see any warning or I would have stayed home that night. The other is that the workers have a bad habit of disappearing for 10-15 minutes at a time to do side work in the theatre or coffee shop and the occasional customer will wander in during that time and not get served.

For mommy daughter day we decided to treat ourselves to an event at the theater. They opened their doors for families to bring kids in for Xmas movies and visit with Santa. We ordered strawberry ice cream, carrot cake, and popcorn. My daughter met The Wizard of East - a magician and experienced his cool tricks. Everyone was sweet and the event was well organized.

Held a 100+ person meeting at the Allen Theatre and was blown away! Ed and his crew were friendly and incredibly helpful.

The location is so beautiful and unique. The food and coffee was excellent, especially for the price. We had ample space to set up registration, auction and merchandise areas in the lobby, and more than enough space to enjoy the renovated theatre area during the formal portions of our get-together.

We were able to connect a laptop into the HD video system for presentations and were provided a microphone to tap into the surround sound.

Our attendees all remarked at the lovely locale. I can't wait to go back and watch a movie there. Highly recommend this as a location for your next in-person meeting. I believe it will hold up to 300 people.
