Beautiful venue for a wedding I attended. The tacos for the wedding were very yummy and this place is beautiful.

I'm conflicted about leaving a review because I don't think the tourists have really "discovered" this place. Without a doubt, The Riv is my favorite breakfast place in the Gorge.
The location is lovely: it's an old church with dining both inside and outside in a courtyard. But it's the owners' dedication to quality that keeps me coming back. From the chocolate in your mocha to the real maple syrup served with your French toast to the chicken selected for your fried chicken sandwich, each component is selected with care.
Quality ingredients, paired with kitchen alchemy, results in absolutely delicious food. The "cherry on top" (well, there are a few) is the reasonable prices...and the table service. I hope The Riv thrives for a long time.

Went to the Riv for the first time last Saturday and had the most delicious chicken sandwich I have ever had. I can't stop thinking about it!! If you ever decide to package and sell that magic concoction you use to bread your chicken with please let me know. Thanks and keep up the good work!!

Really cool building, old church turned into an awesome cafe. They have healthy options for food and killer coffee. The owner and managers are super friendly and the place has a solid vibe for hangout as well as some spots for buisness. Huge fan of the place and would recomend the open face biscuit and the avocado toast!

This place is fire! Ordered a lunch chicken sammie per the owner, Noah’s, recommendation and was very happy with it. Fried beautifully and the the breading was unique, light and flavorful. The latte with the burnt cinnamon was equally incredible. To top it off the owner’s vibe is wonderful. Overall 5++ star experience.

This place is so awesome. Beautiful church that is turned into a cafe. Very good food! Homemade soups, sandwiches and scones... super friendly. You should definitely try this place out. Affordable too

Really good food. Unique atmosphere that it's built into an old stone church. Will be back when I drive out this way again!
