Fabulous little Seaside coffee shop run by an adorable couple! I ordered a soy latte and mango smoothie and both were great. I especially loved their tribute wall to musicians who have had an impact on the LGBTQ+ community and all of the local art. Making this my go-to coffee shop whenever I’m in the area!

Amazing joint, best coffee and smoothies in seaside. Such a quirky spot with cool trinkets and the most creative and artistic menu I’ve ever seen. Go visit brick and get yourself a ginger infused shot of espresso. Thanks for making our mornings in seaside awesome ❤️

In search of good coffee early in the day in the back streets of the Seaside Prom we stumbled upon this gem. Great coffee, great coffee barist+ skills. Savory and sweet breakfast options. Engaging and informative chats with the staff, and SO MANY quirky things to browse in store while our order was prepared. Love it.

Smooth easy tasting locally sources small batch coffee. Had straight espresso 2x; very good and highly recommended from someone who's picky with Colorado small batch roasters.
Wife had chai latte with coconut milk -- not too sweet, really liked it!

This place is amazing!!!! I will never want to have coffee anywhere else again. The product, the customer service, it's all perfect. If you are in the area and are looking for a cup of coffee, this is the place to be. ❤️

I always go to Controversial Coffee when I’m in Seaside, they’re great here. The Sleepy Monk coffee is great, as are the breakfast sandwiches. Try the White Espresso, you won’t regret it. The collectibles, souvenirs, and art for sale are all very reasonably priced. Seems like I walk out with a new mug every time! Also they allow dogs inside and have treats. It’s a cool vibe for sure, check them out!

I love everything about this shop, the vibe with their decor and all the local artwork is wonderful. I've bought some great handmade earrings, gifts, and wall art all from local artists.
I don't drink milk and they have the biggest non-dairy selection I've ever seen. Also I love their espresso it's self, so many places use burnt bitter coffee, but this shop uses locally (properly) roasted Sleepy Monk brand out of Canon Beach.
I've also always had the best customer service here. The owners are a really great couple that love and support their community.
