Controversial Coffee

They have high quality coffee and baristas that know what they are doing. I love the ambiance of the cafe. I visited multiple times on my trip. The menu was very appealing and fun. The art was all very interesting and beautiful. I bought a few treasures from the little gift shop area. This is definitely somewhere I will return to every beach trip.

A totally trendy little coffee shop defiantly worth checking out. The coffee is very tasty and the staff is very nice friendly. There is basically no seating though, so best for morning coffee walk with your dog. Also they are very dog friendly and are happy with giving out puppacinos and dog treats. They have lots of cool little pro LGTBQ+ merchandise and lots of cool things to look at if they are busy. I wish I had the cash to but some of the cool stuff they had. All and all it was a wonderful experience will be visiting every year when we come so don't go anywhere!
Edit: They had some good mil alternatives as well!

Hip, delicious coffee shop.

This is not just a coffee shop, it's a whole vibe. A fun one too.

The customer service is superb.

The shop itself is a mix things, to include a great little rack of 2nd hand clothing at a great price.

The coffee was perfect and hit the spot.

We had a heated Marion Berry scone and it was outstanding, I highly recommend trying one.

This super cute coffee shop is totally worth stopping in here, the people in here are amazing and there coffee shop is litterally so cute. It reminds me so much of me and my bestfriend and really gave me that sense of home. The people here desurve all the business, if you're looking for a fun coffee experience check them out and don't forget to leave a tip!

This is one of the highlights of my mornings. The atmosphere is so welcoming, and you can tell they care. The coffee and special drinks they have are so good. My only grief is that I can only give 5 stars.

My daughter and I loved this place! The food was fantastic and the smoothie was so freaking good! We love how controversial this place is and we support it fully! The owner was the nicest and we will definitely be back the next time we are in Seaside! It was such a vibe in here! Thank you:)

Such a cool spot with delicious coffee and treats! I love the fun drink specials as well, the Roxy Hart was so good and the “blood” was a fun touch! Will definitely keep coming back every time I visit Seaside!
Also- have tried coffee from other places in seaside while visiting and they DO NOT compare to Controversial!
