Beach Day Coffee

This place was fantastic. It was our first time in Seaside and I could not have been happier. They recommended their "White Rocket Espresso" and it was amazing. The service was great and the cashier was more than friendly, which I was thoroughly surprised at when they have to deal with tourists all day every day. It was great to have a nice drink while walking around in the morning.

5 of us ordered espresso drinks here a few days ago and all 5 agreed it was the worst espresso of all time. Some were mochas and americanos. Mine was black espresso over ice so nothing to mask the flavor (intentionally). Almost made me puke. I'm quite used to strong, good coffee. This was so bitter and awful tasting, with a lingering burn in the throat (iced, mind you). All 5 threw our drinks in the trash. This was clearly the result of the person pulling the shots, and the person in charge of cleaning out the machine. Train 'em. Also she was gruff. Nobody needs gruffness with coffee.

Cashier acts like she has no other option but to work here. I’m pretty sure there is plenty of options here for her. Nobody is obligated to work. Horrible service, rather have a gas station coffee.

Monday after Mother's Day, ordered a soy steamer. Received a luke warm steamer which was not only luke warm, it tasted off. Brought to only worker there & she said 'I just steamed it a minute ago! I guess they don't steam for each order! She made me another & it was still luke warm & tasted off. I brought to my mom to see what she thought and she agreed it wasn't hot plus she determined it was milk! I brought it back only to get a response of 'you ordered a steamer and didn't ask for a milk alternative '! So nevermind it's that, what about the temp...i set it on the counter & wasn't offered a thing.
The GF PB cookie was great.
Last September when we visited I had good service & a good hot drink. Not sure I will return.

Popped in for a coffee and cookie on a soaking wet bike ride. Very welcoming and nice refreshments. Highly recommend.

When we passed around noon, it was open. When we returned looking for coffee and pastries around 1 pm it was closed.

Nice little coffee shop with a wide selection of bakery items made in house. I had a blended white mocha and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was huge and tasted amazing.

Their white rocket it the best coffee I've ever had!! The employees were helpful and kind and when we returned on day two they had remembered my daughter by name. We went everyday during our visit. If you are a drinker of fancy coffees this place is a MUST on your trip!!

They run water through the same ground coffee more than once. Coffee is watered down.

My review is based on a previous visit. Walking by the coffee shop today reminded me of my previous experience (thought glad they are closed). Definitely your coffee shop. Definitely not mistaken for any other coffee shop.
