Definitely felt like it was going to be a friendly environment from the moment we walked in since we were greeted by an older gentleman who I could only assume is the owner. Unfortunately, our waitress wasn't as friendly. She quickly came to get our order but it felt like we waited a while for food. Even had to get up and ask someone for napkins during our meal because she never came to check in with us. Too few waitresses tending to tables.

All in all, a nice little diner to get a bite before our long road trip home. Portions were decent, even for the kids' plate. The only downside was that my omelet was good, but the bell peppers and onions could have sautéed a few minutes longer for them to soften. They tasted raw and had a slight crunch.

I love this place for breakfast, haven't eaten lunch or dinner so I can't review that side of it. Now, the servers are all great pulled from the golden era of chewing gum ladies that knew how you wanted it! Price is good, and these guy believe in freedom and the American way. By that they support the blue, and all first responders. The food is great as well, always cooked like you expect it to be but made with a little something else you can tell they take pride in the food.

First time here. We stopped for breakfast. Waitresses were all pretty friendly and attentive. Food was good. Only minor complaint is that took a very long time to get our food. We think it was due to possible short staffed kitchen. Anyway, thumbs up!

My husband and I are from Portland and wanted to eat at a small business and this was not a disappointment! Would recommend for fast service and great food! Our server was fast and efficient they got everything right! It was a Sunday so very busy, but we didn’t have to wait at all we were seated right away!

Wonderful breakfast! I had a half order of biscuits and gravy that more than filled me up. My husband had one of the best chicken fried steaks he’s ever had. Then we shared a cinnamon roll the size of my face that we’ll be eating on for days! Though it was busy, the staff was warm and attentive. We’ll be back!

This is a hard review to write as I can't blame the restaurant too much for our experience.
The food was really good, good portions, and a great price. Service was doing the best they could, they were busy.
Here is the hard part and why we couldn't do 5 stars: the blatant racial discrimination from the other customers was so heavy you could physically feel it. It is a totally whitewashed establishment and those of color are not welcome. Not the staff, I want to be clear, the other patrons. I will say to the restaurant, the promotions you have inside do indeed promote these things. That said, your staff treated us well.
I'm legitimately embarrassed to say I was born and raised in Roseburg due to the experience.
Sad day.

Casey's is the place to be for breakfast. However was disappointed in the dinner. They were well known on the area for their chicken fried steak. Last night at was pretty tasteless. Goes for the gravy as well. Not spices at all. The vegetable medley was of the frozen variety. Lousy.

Down home Mom and Pop dining. Great service! Coffee cup is kept full the entire time your there. Old fashioned cooking at it's best. Waitresses remember you after only one visit. Great place for the senior crowd to go, so their never alone. It's like eating with family

Omg!! Great restaurant 15 stars hands down. The hubby and i relocated our family from Multnomah county to Douglas 3 months ago.
We asked a fred meyer employee randomly about good places to eat that doesn't cost an arm or a leg. She lit up, eyes wide w/ a big fat, "yes!" We were looking for that reaction lol
Sure enuff, we have been there twice now. Huge servings, fantastic prices and every single interaction i had w an employee was seriously amazing. Ty soOo much to the lady @ fred meyers and to everyone who works @ Casey's. I think we are on our way in now this morn lol im hungry. Thx again!!

The food over here is awesome and great service.
