Snow day in Portland so naturally everything shuts down. But the Oracle staff persevered to stay open for the neighborhood with quality 3rd wave coffee and tea (food was sold out).

My wife and I found Oracle because we went on a walk and an afternoon espresso sounded good. The staff were really friendly and patient despite being on the tail end of one of their busiest days ever according to them. Pleasant neighborhood atmosphere for sure.

Very nice location, a quiet setting. I've been back in the Portland area for just over 2 years and this is the first cup of coffee I'm writing about because it's worth it. I got a latte and it was amazing. My first sip was a warm marshmallow of oat milk froth. The beans aren't burnt and the coffee is full-bodied. Just Yum!
Oh, and no dairy served. I was skeptical, but I think I fell in love with oat milk.

I am not 100% sure how I feel about this coffee shop. I would try it again. However, today's experience was just okay. The nitro cold brew was very good. The space was a bit cold and uninviting. It could just be the first impression that was lackluster, but it is hard to say. I won't give specifics on the reasons, I will just hope it's better if there is a next time.

Oracle was amazing! The coffee was perfection...so smooth and rich. The staff were kind and seemed chill and content to be there, which is hard to find these days. Really enjoyed my coffee and the whole vibe there.

Good coffee. Great servers. The oat milk for the latte could have been better. To thin not enough body. Made the latte taste watery. But otherwise worth the visit on Christman eve morning

Good coffee, pleasant, friendly service, with a nice open and bright space. This coffeehouse is proudly non-dairy; the oat milk creamer was an acceptable alternative to dairy, even if the consistency and aesthetic of the cup was slightly sub-par.

Great space! Very clean, modern and also very Portland. Not too cluttered and the tables aren't to close together. You can ell he owners spent a lot of time and energy on the space. Drink wise: I got an iced matcha. Pretty standard, but pretty good! (how creative or different can you get with a basic drink choice like that) It was a tad more expensive than some other places in town, but not by much. For me, the selling point is that several of the tables have outlets near them! Some don't, but some do. I am surprised by how many coffee shops don't have outlets. I love coming to coffee shops and doing work, although as a business owner I totally understand not wanting someone to pay for a $6 drink and camping out at a table for 6 hours on their computer. Overall, a great spot! Even though I don't live in this part of town, I can see myself coming back for the environment.

I like to try unique coffee spots in each location I visit and stumbled upon Oracle. The cafe is very clean and modern. The coffee is rich and flavorful. Definitely a memorable place. Looking forward to trying the ground espresso beans when I get home.

The coffee is good. The pastries - look a lot better then they taste. Depending on the mood of the baristas you might get a nice person -I’m assuming the customer service is based on if they think your cool or not 😂 I Ordered large box coffees (8 small servings $40 each) twice in the last two weeks , the last time I ordered it they forgot to give me lids and the milk that comes along with the fixings. After driving 20 mins to a company party - I realized it wasn’t added. Obviously I was peeved - not everyone drinks their coffee black, and a coffee without a lid is a dangerous game - so I call to ask for a discount or some sort of coupon - because I LIKE THE COFFEE, and I live around the corner I don’t want to feel cheated, so I’m hoping they would just make things right - I just spent $160 total in 2 weeks not including what my husband spends coming in a couple times a week. The person who answered on the other end met me with “the fixings are complementary- they don’t cost anything it’s the coffee you purchased so we can’t give you anything, you can come back and grab your stuff if you want” I guess half - as* work is acceptable here. You can gouge your customers and then not make them feel valued by being cheap. Only one box was enjoyed by my co workers. I guess I could’ve gone out of my way to buy milk and lids else where - let me just put it this way- if you had no fixings - I wouldn’t have spent what I did at your location. You guys can’t be this cheap charging what you do. People pay more, for quality, and service not just because your place looks trendy. Coffee being good or not- have respect for your customers.
