Staff was friendly, coffee was great. I like that they don't make their mochas overly sweet. Just an overall great vibe. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Super nice people, delicious coffee and Chai lattes, free wifi and great baked goods. Tried their avacado toast and biscuit sandwich with avacado as a substitute for bacon. The biscuit was buttery, light and fluffy. It was a big sandwich without being too heavy. Reasonably priced as well (6.50). If you're in the area, check them out!

Very friendly service! It was my first time here and I felt like I was in a coffee shop I'd been going to for years. Cool modern feel. Excellent Americano. Stop in and say hi, you'll have fun!

Best neighborhood coffee if not over all! The specials are always fantastic and the cold brew is amazing

The coffee is good, and the hashtagpdx bagel is amazing! I've had some pretty bland avocado toasts/bagels and this one has a lot of flavor! Thanks for tasty foods guys!

Beyond great coffee, tasty artisan pop tarts and a relaxed environment the Kainos crew ensured my coffee was unadulterated by cleaning out the blackhole which my hydroflask had become- this turned out great since their coffee is top-notch!

My favorite cortado on the West Coast I drive out of my way to get a coffee here and the beans that they roast to take home. the fact that it's small and locally owned by some really great guys is a bonus!

This first brick and mortar shop for Kainos looks good in the Roseway neighborhood.

The signature espresso blend is quite unique among all the other profiles you can taste in Portland, and also made for a fantastic cold brew that was dynamic and stood apart well from its espresso form.

The shop sports a handsome Rocket R9(!), Malkhonig Twin and mounted tap, all humbly nestled on a natural stain wood bartop.

The bright and clean kaleidopop mural, light wood tabletops, plus molded Eames chairs all make for a good atmosphere.
These aesthetics are complimented by handmade mugs and some new and beautiful publications from both a local organization and a photographer partnering with the shop's core value, "You drink, kids eat."

Good rigs, good digs.
I'll definitely be back for more.
