Wanda's Cafe + Bakery

Someone hooked me up with a scone at the office, so I had to check it out. Got there an hr before closing and they were sold out. So next time for sure. Nabbed a brownie and a gluten free oatmeal cookie. Both were great, and the scones are killer. Cute place. Come early for the fresh scones. Holy Molly, tried a Savory Scone today and they are amazing. Think Red Lobster cheese biscuits on steroids, plus thick bacon and chives.

LOVE Wanda's! Definitely recommend! Service, food, drinks, seating options, decor, music, shopping options, and the entire experience is just fantastic! We have been several times and have the same great experience each time. It can be busy on the weekends - so prepare to possibly wait a bit before you get seated and just remember the wait will be worth it! While you wait you can order a specialty coffee or enjoy the house drip coffee and a pastry/baked good if you choose. Man, haven't even gotten to the food. Ha The food is super yummy! Really think there is something here for everyone to enjoy. So far, we have enjoyed multiple breakfast options and their veggie sandwich with turkey and a tossed salad. So yummy! I have no doubt the rest of their menu is delicious! Easily our favorite breakfast spot on the OR Coast!

Quaint, cozy, amazing all around. Prompt, friendly service, well portioned and delicious food, great outdoor patio, yummy treats. Randomly food this spot on our way to the beach from Portland and wish we loved closer because we would be here every weekend. This is exactly how I always want a cafe to look and taste.

Wanda's is ALWAYS a treat! They consistently knock it out of the park with their superb food and top quality service. Way to go, Wanda's staff! Cute and cozy atmosphere. It's worth the wait (they are typically busy and there's often a wait for a table).
Update: 3/11/23- I visit as often as I can and am never disappointed! They are updating their decor some (to keep it fun and interesting?) and offer "to go" items that are ready in their cooler and tasty if you just can't wait in line (there's usually always a wait for a table). I LOVE the French toast but don't spring the extra $1.50 for the toasted pecans as they aren't toasted at all. One of the best in the area!

I won't say we ordered five entrees for three people, but we did. On our second visit in a week. Which we drove an hour to get to. If you haven't eaten at Wanda's, I'm not sure you've really lived. A simple menu done extremely well in a very cool atmosphere.

My wife and I came here while we were on our honeymoon along the Oregon coast. We tried many, many restaurants and we were both very impressed with Wanda’s. Not only was it one of the only places open during the weekdays, it had some of the best and cheaper food options we had all trip. The beachcomber is fantastic. The gravy has a certain flavor that is different and pleasant. It’s not the typical sausage gravy that I’ve come to expect. Definitely worth stopping by here!

Wow! This has to be one of the best cafe's I've ever been to! My boyfriend said it was the best eggs Benedict he's ever had. They gave us a complimentary scone while we waited, and it was the best scone I've ever tried. Truly a treasure, I am so glad we stopped by! They also have really cool souvenirs and merchandise. My boyfriend and I both bought souvenirs. He bought a book about the PNW Coast (pictured above).

Last, but not least; I forgot my purse on my way out! The wonderful staff stopped me before I could get out the front door and returned it to me. The food and the service is amazing, not to mention the artistic vibe. Do yourself a favor and come here!

My only regret is not taking more pictures of the food, to share in this review.

Wanda’s Cafe + Bakery was AMAZING! The staff was so nice from the moment was arrived to the end of our meal. Even went as far to treat me like a celebrity! The food was amazing and the drinks were also soooo good. Definitely make this place a stop for your breakfast needs. You will not be disappointed. Go go go!!!!

Patients... I put my name on a waiting list for over an hour just to be forgotten by the host, Frank. After letting them know, I still waited 10 minutes for a table. The waitress, Shayla, made up for it. She was fast, responsive, and kind.
The food was delicious. Biscuits with sausage gravy with eggs and seasoned potatoes.
The food gets 5 stars.
Shayla gets 5 stars.
Frank got 1 star.

This is “THE Best place to eat” while in the area. Delish breakfast, yummy options, homemade breads and baked goods. Plus the environment is welcoming, beautiful plants with thoughtful decor and design throughout. If you can eat on the back patio of you get the opportunity, its heated and lovely.
