Unable to make food but it's on the menu. So I would give it a half a star if I could.

We stopped here for breakfast. The dining room is currently closed, so they’re doing drive-thru only. The coffee was drinkable (admittedly we have high coffee standards) and the croissant sandwich with sausage was quite good. My travel partner’s traditional breakfast was less impressive, the toast wasn’t buttered and the eggs were fried within an inch of their lives. But overall, really not bad for a small town breakfast.

Good customer service and good attitude from the workers but, the chicken bacon burger was lack luster for what i paid. Asked for mayo and mustard, only got mayo. Asked for pepperchini's, got two normal sized pieces and four pieces that were barely the size of the nail on my pinkie finger. Sadly gonna have to give it a 5 out of 10

Quality coffee. Great food. Must stop and try. Specially after camping for a few days. Always love stopping in when working in the area

Great coffee drinks and breakfast sandwiches that are out of this world. It's a small town and to have a good choice for breakfast is nice. Give it a shot you will love it.

We live about 180 miles from John Day but I can assure you this is our "go to" coffee place whenever we're passing through. They make fresh breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches and have lovely fresh-baked (yes, from scratch) pastries. There is usually a pot of homemade soup simmering and a beautiful, fresh salad bar. To top it all off the coffee is wonderful. My husband likes his dark and he is always pleased.
The owner is very sweet, friendly, and makes rounds often to be sure everything is good. The staff pay close attention to details when taking our order. They always get it right the first time even with several changes.
The rustic, western-barn style decor creates a down-to-earth pleasantly comfortable atmosphere.
The restrooms are always kept very clean and have a tasteful decor matching the rustic cafe.
We've never been disappointed with any purchase here. I am happy to recommend this coffee shop to anyone who likes a good brew with a delicious breakfast or lunch! I'm sure you won't be disappointed!!

Great little, locally-owned coffee stop. Quick, inexpensive, and great coffee to start the day. Under $3 for a coffee with a shot!
Whenever I'm in John Day, I always start my day with a coffee from Timbers.
One of the many great small businesses in John Day.

Great Service, Great Food!
Waitress came out to my car and took my breakfast order as a Covid 19 courtesy. She got everything right and the eggs were a perfect over medium, the bacon was big slices and tasty, the Americano coffee was flavorful and just as I ordered. The only slight ding I would give is that the hash browns, while plentiful, were too obviously from a freezer bag.
