Coastal Cups Coffee House

My wife and I traveled the historic 101 route together and tried a verity of coffee shops on the way up. We both love coffee very much and she even worked in the coffee industry. This was the second best coffee place we tried in the whole state! The other being 230 miles further up the coast. The Mexican Mocha and brevé latte were great. The espresso tasted crisp, strong and without any burnt taste. The barista was very kinda and helpful when we were asking about the menu. Excellent place and would recommend to anyone to go!

Our breakfast sandwiches arrived soaked with old darkened grease from the griddle. We threw them out. The pastries were sickeningly sweet. The Jesus propogands on every surface is tiresome. The coffee is fine, but not good enough to make up for the rest of it.

I can't say enough about this little slice of heaven. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and soul soothing. The staff are incredibly friendly and try their best to make you feel special every time you come in. The coffee and drinks are GREAT the baked goods are just AMAZING. Ask for them warmed up and it is just like fresh from the oven. I've tried some of their other food items and have always been impressed. I highly recommend taking a little time to grab a little treat and snuggle up in front of their fireplace and forget the fadt life for a while.

Love the vibe!! Great environment and super friendly host! We enjoyed one of the best scones I've had in years! The breakfast burrito was enormous and perfect! Excellent coffee, hot and delicious!

Great location, right off Hwy 101. Easy parking and plenty of it. Minutes away from the beaches!

Super cute coffee place! Really like the vibe inside. My husband and I ordered flavored espresso drinks. The coffee itself was good, but was very sweet (and I like sweet!). Could use less flavoring. Breakfast burritos were good (eggs, potatoes, green chilies, bacon, cheese, black beans). The bacon within the burrito was very fatty. Overall taste was good though! Staff was VERY friendly and nice, especially the barista. She had a few drinks to make in front of ours and kept apologizing for the wait. Also, the scone was very tasty and fresh!

The coffee and pastries were good, but the breakfast sandwich was overdone, and really greasy. The staff was friendly, but the wait time was pretty annoying. The eating area was spacious, inviting, and clean. This is a good place to go if you just want to get some coffee and pastries, and sit around with your friends in the morning.

This place is pretty good most of the time & only coffee shop I go to around here. I like the Chai Chillers. However, today I wasn't happy with my service nor my drink. I ordered my drinks & paid right when a lady walked in the door. Instead of starting mine, they started talking to the lady & made hers before even starting my drinks. Too bad the drink was rushed. It was very bland & didn't drink all of it. I just hope next time they don't skip me to make their friends drinks first.
