This is for the cafe, (and Google is currently showing incorrect opening time- the bakery closes at 1pm, the cafe has typical restaurant hours). Great service, great food generous portions in a homely, comfortable environment. The haddock and steak were both excellent and my daughter, a connoisseur of clam chowder rated their efforts very highly. Clean and friendly, and reasonably priced for the quantity and quality of food, a welcome and unexpected surprise at this small coastal town.

This bakery has excellent pastries. Definitely worth a stop to get some. It has been a few years since we have eaten at the restaurant, but that was very good as well. Do plan ahead if you want to go there, they are closed Tuesday and Wednesday even during the summer when we have been in the area.

Great Food, and Service! Such a cute place, I love going there early in the morning for great espresso, and pastries. I've only been there for dinner a few times, but it was delicious and I left having had an amazing meal, with great service. Love this little gem!

We stopped by at 11:00 am and there was absolutely no baking left except a few muffins and cookies. We were pretty disappointed. The coffee was alright, but not fantastic. The decor is cute and welcoming, but the staff were not incredibly friendly. We did not go in the cafe as we were headed out of town. I would give it another go at an earlier time, but we probably won't be in the area for a while.

It's a couple of years since we have been to Gearhart and I dashed to the pastry shop on Thursday morning 9/13/18 because I remember the wonderful fresh pastries. They didn't disappoint! You have to get there a little early for the full selection. ONE ISSUE which is an easy fix..the young woman behind the counter taking orders wasn't happy doing her job. Unfortunately made clear by making us feel rushed and feeling like a bother to her. How wonderful our morning experience could have been with a welcoming smile and the warmth of a personal touch.

Only reason for 3 stars is that my steamer clams had parmesan cheese added. NO! Steamer clams need to be unadulterated other than garlic, parsley & a great white wine. It gave the clams a very odd flavor & texture. Seafood generally does not do well with cheese. Please reconsider!

Decent coffee and snacks. Friendly service however VERY SLOW with only one person doing everything. Pack your patience or find another cafe.

With COVID only 2 people are allowed at once which is understandable. However, the same 2 people were in the bakery chatting with the employee working. We came back an hour later and the same customers were just hanging out chatting with the employee who reminded us only 2 people. We left and went elsewhere so they could continue there all morning chat and we could get food service.

We had a group of 6 (4 adults / 2 young children) and came here during spring break. Reservations are highly recommended as this place is pretty intimate and seems to be the only upscale restaurant in the area. The staff is always extremely friendly and our server this time was very accommodating of our children, bringing them crayons and paper and making sure their food came out quickly. I highly recommend the snow shoe crab pizza as an appetizer - it's fantastic! I had the rib eye which was cooked to perfection - the best steak I've had in a long time. In addition to the restaurant, there is also a bakery attached which is open mornings with amazing pastries! If you're on the northern Oregon coast, this is the place to come.

Prepackaged turkey sandwiches we're soggy on the bottom piece of bread making them barely fit to eat. We took off the bottom piece and ate it opened face. We received two packages of potato chips with the sandwiches and one bag of chips was so stale you couldn't eat them.
Maybe their baked goods are better but our initial experience was less than desirable.
