Very cute cafe on our trip up the coast. We had a nice ham and cheese croissant along with a couple of sweet treats. It was very good and the coffee, along with the orange juice, was very good. It is a bit expensive but I would say it was worth it!

We got the croissants and they were amazing! We will definitely be back!

Everything was enjoyable! The food was great, staff prompt and pleasant, atmosphere charming, right down to the alligators in the bathroom.

The clam chowder is on point. It has bacon, but it does not over power the clam. The Dungeness Crab open face sandwich is legit as well. Save room for dessert, since the sweets come from the Bakery next door!

This is a must go to spot. The bakery in the morning and the restaurant for dinner will not disappoint.

Come to this bakery EVERY time in town. LOVED IT! Sadly today that changed for me. Under new ownership. The display cases that used to be the "WOW" factor FILLED with pastries, breads, rolls, pies.... now sparsely display a single sample of each item offered and the trays of the items are on the back counter. Selection is sparse compared to previously. They attempted to be expedient but making coffee drinks & their unorganization greatly slowed service. Taking over this popular bakery, it appeared they didn't know how to handle the opening rush. There were only 2 people working. Gentleman was making coffee drinks & the woman was pulling pastry orders. If he was working on coffee orders, the line was at a standstill. With two people before me in line, it took about 45 min before I was helped. I did not get any coffee, was only there for pastries.
He stopped & repack my order to stack them in 2 layers so the woman wouldn't use so many boxes. He wouldn't let her use a bag for part of the order. He put paper over the 4 cinnamon rolls and put scones and muffin on top. The paper totally stuck to & pulled the frosting off the cinnamon rolls. By the look on the womans face when he repacked my order.... she knew it was a bad idea but she was wise enough not to challenge him in front of customers. When I left, the line was out the door and to the corner of the street. I felt sad for the 2 people working because it was clear they were flustered and unprepared. I'm sure some of the customers, the ones that didn't abort the mission, were frustrated with the wait. Sadly to say, it'll be quite awhile before I go back but I'll probably give them another chance. I won't recommend them though due to what I witnessed today.

They have been open a couple of months, the food was excellent as was the service, as with most restaurants now days they need " good help" if you enjoy chowder be sure to try their's it has Dungeness crab in it, I am an Oregon native and have had chowder up and down the coast, this was some of the best I have had.

Got there at 11:00 and there was almost nothing in the bakery area! We were very disappointed by the poor selection.
I'd like to modify this review. We purchased a brown sugar maple roll (it was about the only thing left), but didn't eat it until several hours later. I must admit it was about the best roll I've ever had!! It was still moist, tender, pillowy, and considering that it had been sitting in a paper bag in the car for several hours as we drove home, it was still wonderfully fresh. I guess I can see why people are coming in and buying large quantities of your pastries!

The best pastries you'll ever eat! Yummy lunch options like soup and sandwiches too. They sell out of some of the best bakery options early though, so go early to get the goods! Also, keep in mind the limited days / times when you plan your trip.

Local favorite! Cozy with warm French bistro vibe. Roast veggie tart is amazing!
